Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

- but allegedly 5 days ago.

Sorry but not 'allegedly'. That is a false statement. The price was available within the last week. All you had to do was look for it.

But you did ask a question earlier today about the price you could get St Henri for. I positively answered your question and indicated that a lower price was offered for the same item. I provided facts to support that answer.

But as far as I can tell it's not available now? Unless there's some somewhere else that has it for that price? So while your statement may or may not have been false, I'm not convinced it was particularly helpful.

Now if you had said

I got it for $69 5 days ago, but I do (or don't) think $71.20 is a decent price

That would be a helpful answer.

Tommy it's all cool - the 'common man' occasionally uses the term 'allegedly' in a much more liberal lighthearted manner that the 'Perry Mason' types - I have no doubt the offer the good Dr refers to was factual so no problemo with that response.

for those unaware, I posted in [post=1473949]the pinot noir thread[/post] about Dan's offering its members any 2 of 2015 De Bortoli Estate Grown Yarra Valley Pinot Noir or Chardonnay for $32 this month

Good deal on some mixed champagnes from Cellarmasters (Moet, Nicolas Feuillatte & Lanson Black). Using the $50 AMEX cash back available + discount codes available should get this down to around $30 a bottle.

thanks - at $245.94 for the 6pk before discounts, I'm not surprised it's unfortunately sold out :(

there are, however, 5 left of a Moet & Chandon and Wolf Blass Platinum Shiraz 2004 twin pack for $227.98 - if you don't have a $50 or $100 voucher/code, then use VIVINO for 10% off and free delivery/handling, with possibly 8% cashback available via CashRewards

https://www.cellarmasters.com.au/gi...s-platinum-and-moet-chandon-twin-pack-ARF1009

the Wolf Blass sells for $145 at Winehouse and is rated 96pts by Winefront and Jeremy Oliver

Very good find. Wish I had more AMEX cashbacks available to me :(

Hi,

What discount codes are available? I'm looking to stack with AMEX offer

Cash back via Cashrewards (or similar) and/or paying with discounted WISH card, although the latter obviously precludes the use of your Amex for payment.
There have been some discount codes flying around lately but I don't think there are any currently valid.

That Vivino code might be just enough to tip me over to use mine :)

You're right. With cashrewards + the code you've supplied it's an 18% discount. Thought about it for 5 minutes and that was enough to get me to pull the trigger.

Nice to see this purchase turn up unexpectedly (everything I read online said delivery after 5 July, it was delivered Fri 1st July after being ordered on 30th June).

My problem is the case of 6 (Grant Burge special) ordered on 29th June still hasn't shown up...off to ring DM's...and this was my first order so not a good first impression
