Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Drinking a wine tonight that I cannot recall buying. It is pretty decent and has a touch of GB Filsell about it, an earthy taste.
It is a McLaren Vale Shiraz, unsure if the Vineyard is Penny's Hill or Skeleton Key. Has a Red Dot above the label. Worth grabbing if you see it somewhere.

You can tell I am organised...
WM had these in a few Halliday 6 packs. Very much enjoyed the couple I've had.

Not found anymore on WM. FirstChoice have them $30.40 in a 6 pack. I thoroughly recommend the Penny's Hill Shiraz...would be extra nice at around $15.

Ir youre happy to buy 12. Not so good if you only want a couple.

Isn't shipping like, $1/bottle, if you buy 6? Hardly worth worrying about when you're paying nearly $50/bot for the wine IMHO.

In any case, if it scores like last year, you can keep 2 bottles, and onsell the rest at $150/bot :)

DM have 2013 Penfolds Bin 28 at $27.50 - Cashrewards 15% ends tonight. With WISH 5% off, makes it $22/bot, which is the cheapest I've seen so far for 2013 Bin 28.

Serrat SV 2015 still available from Epiqure @ $42/bot.

Same as cellar door pricing so not bad.

Free delivery as well(2 x 6 pack 0ver $300)

wot u talking bout Lewis? I've lost track

Epiqure is free delivery for premium members and orders over $300- or $6 if you are not or spending less - but a minimum 6 bottle order on these. Serrat direct allow single bottle orders but are $35 delivery for 1 bottle (or 12) where I live.

I had already grabbed some direct but for my location and a 6 bottle buy EpiQure is a better deal :(

I am however happy that I am on their list and will have the option to buy direct next year

Anyone had experience with UNCORKED WINES in Bentleigh?sandringham Melbourne??? Just doing some research about a tempranillo when I found a link here.
Going thru their facebook stuff - which I don't quite fathom - it seems they have some one hour specials that arr odd. well last julys little creatures 500ml at 2.50 would appeal to anyone I think.
cheers

Sorry, no - which tempranillo?

Different Drop has 10% off all S.C. Pannell wines with voucher code PANNELLPLEASE until this Sunday, including 2014 Syrah for $31.50 and 94pt 2015 Tempranillo Touriga for $24.30, the latter being perhaps best the Aussie example besides [post=1487837]Mayford[/post]'s

They also have 94pt 2015 Lock & Key Reserve Tempranillo for $22 with voucher code TEMPTATION

Serrat SV 2015 still available from Epiqure @ $42/bot.

Thanks for posting - it'll probably sell out soon now that you've done so :)

Free delivery as well(2 x 6 pack 0ver $300)

Or $5 Click & Collect at ParcelPoints if under $300 and not a premium member

$50? Or $42?

Errr...I was saying that the Epiquire price per bottle is good (ie same as cellar door), but rather expensive overall if you only want a couple of bottles (ie I'm not buying 12 just for free shipping, thats false economy). I only wanted 2 anyway, as thats all my budget allows right now.
