Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

All I can say is that I am lucky that I missed this saltram stuff as its all very confusing. I was enjoying a 2009 Mesach. It was very nice indeed. During the day I had a sample of 2013 st henri, and for me, I am glad that the meshach was far superior namely due to the pricing of both. Does that now make the st henri at sixty bucks great value. Yes, I believe so. My son said the M was the smoothest red he has ever had.

I'm not sure that there is a 'norm' with CM.

I've seen reports of very quick deliveries and I've had deliveries take more than two weeks.

My advice would be to check your online tracking and if not delivered after two weeks contact them.

Got text message from CM to contact about a recent order. Called them assuming they will explain the mistake with No.1 and offer a refund. Instead they wanted to confirm if I indeed made multiple orders of the same product or was it a system error. I've explained the reason of multiple orders (20RED code) and asked to confirm the wine and vintage.
After short hold the rep came back and said it's Saltram No.1 2012 followed by "holy moly you got a good price on that one!"

While not 100% confirmed (not until I'll see the wines for myself) it's an encouraging sign the deal was legit.

Congrats boomy that was a great deal!

UNLUCKY13 for 13% off WM today only. Not sure there's much to go at on their site though really (Penfolds missing for the day).

In other news 9.6% Cashrewards is back on at Langtons.

Nice one. Still at "Received" here, just made one order.

Seems like a long time. I'd call them.

If the deal was legit why the call to explain your order??..strange

I think they wanted to confirm the multiple, independant orders for the same item. Aka it wasn't either (a) a mistake or (b) some issue ordering at the client's end e.g. confirmation page didn't load, which resulted in them attempting to order mulitiple times

But given that their disc codes can be and have been used on multiple orders many times in the past??..or they stuffed up and don't have enough stock to honor all the orders that got thru?

I doubt many got through.. the window of opportunity seemed very brief!

Cellarmasters is offer $25 off a $99 spend (code: HALLOWINE) with 9.60% cashback from cashrewards if anyone is interested; nothing really gets my attention at that price bracket.

Assuming most CM customers are not as bargain savvy as the members in this forum, multiple orders of the same item in short period of time would appear as an anomaly in their system.

Yup, I had this with the Maverick bonanza. They automatically hold orders if done in quick succession. In my case I noticed it and contacted them, at which time they released it.

On line tracking as I type still has this CM order as "shipped".

It arrived here round 2pm, ie -> 2hrs+ ago.

Thanks for replies

No call regarding my orders. Looks like Hallowine god/devil at work. The Saltram No. 1 twin pack deal is $150 and NOT $50.
The power of the missing "1". Just received the CM Christmas mailout and there it is, the Saltram No1 twin pack code "GIFTS20-R" $150.

Just by chance I was flipping through CM and noticed the save $150. It should have been $150 and save $50.
I then noticed that the bottle is not No 1 but Saltram made for CM shiraz. But it doesn't matter as I can always return.
Won't be long now to add to previous 2010 collection from Winemarket $40. :D

Just had the Cracka Wine rep give me a call - some awesome Grant Burge deals if you like Meshach and Shadrach 2012 (my wallet wouldn't stretch that far)...
