Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Does anyone know is the CR on langtons only applicable to 'buy now' products? Has anyone had it work?

Can't imagine it applies to auctions, as they'd just have to up the premiums to cover the cashback. Online retail sales makes sense, as it just cuts their margin (but no need to pay incentive to their brokers).

In any case, isn't Langtons gone from CR? Or is it back again?

Edit: just jumped onto my laptop to check, and it's back again! Woohoo.

I've only made auction purchases through Langtons recently, with CR never working. I did put in a request for missing rewards and will see what happens - could be months away of course.
I couldn't see anything in the terms saying it was retail only though.

FWIW. Can split payments online across multiple cards at Boccaccio Cellars. Instead of directly doing a check out, create a quote and finalize your order. Then make part payments across multiple cards. They even have click and collect.

Noticed this morning Amex have a new offer for "Online retailer", spend $60 get $30 credit. Two retailers that may interest those here are Cracka and Boccaccio Cellars.
Might be good to combine with a code.
Does anyone know if you can split a Cracka payment?

Thanks for posting this. $30 delivery is a bit eyewatering but 4 amexs will make it work overall :)

Good tip, thanks.

Anyone had previous experience buying from them?
Bit unprofessional that many bottle photos don't match advertised vintages.

Boccaccio are very professional and great guys as well. I and many of my subscribers have bought there for many years now.
The are the family behind Hoddles Creek Estate also.
Bottle shots often do not include vintages or are of a different vintage on many sites, it's usually a supplier problem in not updating stock images on their sites, most places don't take their own label shots.

You will get the vintage listed in the text, unlike the roulette of Dan Murphy.

Huge thanks xsig!

We're (only) running 6 cards, but this picked me up a 6 pack of Billecart for under $33/bottle delivered. It will go great with my Cellarmasters Veuve this Xmas.

can you use bank Amex cards for this or do they have to be cards issued by AMEX themselves?

Yes, you can register bank issued Amex cards - google Amex connect and register a card then add any more you have

anyone who is interested in the wine threads and the deals that come up, should be looking at the Amex offers - there are offers for CM, DM, WM and many others. Currently the shop small allows you to get $10 off at lots of local bottle shops on a $20 spend

Shop Small is definitely worth it IMO - been to six outlets for mid $20 small producer wines that i have been keen to try but are never discounted - easy to do so in Eastern Adelaide

Am I missing something? The Hoddles is $49.99 unless you buy 6, did you really manage to get almost 50% off this?
