Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Agree qaz. Went with the 08 Riesling and 04 Cab blend. Sorely tempted by the 92 Cab magnum too. Anyone tried either of the Stonier Chardys listed? Seem to be more expensive than their Reserve.

It's not wine, but Dan's have El Jimador tequila on member special. $38, instead of $45. And with a GC that takes it down to $36. A fantastic deal for all coughtail drinkers.

St henri 2008 $70
6 x 2015 chalamabrar $95
Mount langhi Ghiran $80
Riddoch $90
Cullen dm $90
Moss Wood $90

I am also liking Penfolds Bin 150 2010 for $70

EDIT ; if i can find something worth $0.01 to get to $100

Great price on Petaluma Coonawarra cab 2013. Comes down to just a tick under $130 delivered. Through grays wine. $150 per six pack on grays normal website, which is about half normal price.

Been buying some of their back vintages for less than today's RRP. This is as cheap as I've seen it.

Taittinger NV two for $79.90, less 1.3% CR ($1.04)

Bollinger LGA 2005 for $169.99, less 1.3% CR ($2.21) - not sure I've seen a better price for this, if so I'd be interested in what you've seen it for.

Ended up getting Taittinger NV and Turkey Flat 2014 shiraz for $100.94 , less $30 and less $0.92 per order. Got two orders of the same.
I consider a fair price for Taittinger NV to be $40, so I got the Turkey Flat shiraz for $30/bottle. Happy with that.

Grays prices dont make sense for Petaluma - all the pictures and description match the 'yellow label' but the price seems to be more the white label. Is it possible they mucked it up? Looking at the other wines they have listed they are all at retail (or ever above! if you think of the member prices on Petaluma site.)

Yes, definitely a mistaken price. The question is whether they will actually deliver or cancel/refund.

Pricing error, or naming error, not sure, but if its supposed to be the 'white label' grays were selling, i could have got that for $111 straight from Petaluma, since they give a $30 voucher when you sign up and then a %10 discount off retail

The detailed listing/photo is unambiguous, just the price is wrong. They may wear the mistake and supply the wine or try to cancel/refund. Shouldn't have long to wait to find out.

Agreed - was worried I'd be buying the white label but the tasting notes and all details match the yellow from Petaluma's site. Given it's 59.95 at Dans in any six and even $285 or so on Cellar One at family/friends prices, 130 for the 6 seems like an incredible price, so I'm glad i chanced it. Fingers crossed!

Although 2016 Serrat wines aren't officially released until next Monday, a place in Melbourne is not only offering a pre-arrival price of $39 for most of their two dozen allocations, but also already has the pinot noir available at the moment - pm me for details :)

Previously they have given refunds, such as when they mixed up Heathcote Estate Shiraz with their Mail Coach Shiraz :(

The single vineyards are components of the reserve and whilst usually more expensive, they're currently cheaper due to being on special - reviews of past vintages seem to rated the reserve generally better :)

@qaz I'd love to know..! This is my first post, and can't seem to find the PM button on mobile...? Many thanks

Any reviews of this years Serrat offerings kicking about yet?
