Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Re Wynns 2015 Black Label - anybody actually pulled the trigger yet? Dans with CR and WISH brings it back to ~$22.79 IMCAC? Unless a Dans voucher appears somewhere this might be as good as it gets?

Didn't CM or someone have a really sharp deal on a recent vintage? A figure of $21.00 comes to mind last year or year before? Or am I dreamin'?

DMs had it as a 1 day only special for $23 a few months back. Not sure if thats what you were thinking of?

No that wasn't it - there was a special deal with vouchers - I even had a kind AFFer from Sydney lent me his voucher as he was not going to use it - anybody recall?

Edit
- Langston's it was - 2013 and 2014 - $345 doz less $150 Voucher = $16.25ea - August 2016. Might just hold off and see what appears. This is a seriously good quaffer at these prices.

I think it was on cellarmasters and people used 25/50 vouchers
ended up being 18ish a bottle or something

Winemarket was similar story, $22. I can't recall if that was pre/post CB etc.

Either way, $25 is a solid buy now price

Two deals worth noting:
- Halliday wine companion 2018 preorder (release tomorrow) with free 1 year Wine companion web access + magazines. $29.95 at Booktopia. Ozbargain just posted up the promo code BLISS, for free shipping. I have just ordered myself, although have never bought from Booktopia.

- A few sharp release prices on the 2015 Wynns Black Label Cab Sauv. Langtons are selling it for $25pb in a six. Dan Murphy's have beaten it at $24.90 in any six.

Edit: beaten to it on the Wynns

Thanks for that, grabbed the Wine companion book! cheers

In my mind standard price for Black Label is $23.

$20 is what I generally aim for via some deal or the other. No need the rush with the amount they produce!

Down to $24.85 at Dan's now.

I went in for six. A seriously good wine that's a regular buy. Might I save $10 or so for the half a dozen at some point in the future with messing around. Probably. Is my time worth more than the $10...most definitely.

That's the code they gave to people who made a puchase in July for $25 in August. Be interesting to see if it works for people who did NOT make a July purchase.
