Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

How long does it take you guys to receive your E Wish gift cards usually? Last couple of times I have bought them through cash rewards it has taken well over 24 hours. Pretty frustrating when youre hoping a wine deal doesnt end.

I've had a couple times I've had to ring/email after waiting over 24hrs. I've got the reason as 'random extra security check' due to fraud prevalence, but interestingly enough my order then processes immediately. Generally it was the $300 or $400+ cards. With a family of 6 we have been getting that each week, and then then extra for wine deals.

For a 'random' check it happens quite regularly.

BWS doing 25% off for >6 bottles again, could be time for deleted lines but they've been getting thin on the ground lately.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I was trying to see this apply to my 6-bottle cart but with no luck. Even removed any with a '2 for $40' type offer, still nothing. There's no terms listed on the website, just the header "25% off wine in any 6 or more". https://bws.com.au/productgroup/25-off-wine-sale

Usually the 25% off offers takes effect on the Wednesday, along with the general Woolworths catalogue. Try again tomorrow :)

Did anybody else buy Cellarmaster's 'Wine of the Year'? Yep it is Reynella Limited Cellar Release Shiraz:

And a blurb on side of carton:

But it it is the writing on bottom of carton that made me sit up:

A close up just to clarify:

Is that kosher? Awarding 'Wine of the Year' to a wine that is bottled exclusively for Cellarmasters? Don't seem at all above board to me.

Better out then in W&D ;)

Is that a touch of scepticism I detect Steady :(

Certainly doesn't seem advisable to me either CE, smacks of "insider trading" although I'm sure the contents are going to be excellent nonetheless....

Ahh I thought "better out than in" meant rather than being up for the deal you were "out" (like Duncan Bannatyne from the Dragon's Den).....:)

CE just drink 2 bottles then send it back. More than likely they'll just leave it with you anyway.

I jumped on the CM mystery Coonawarra Cab Sauv on the weekend after a generous AFFer passed on a code. On Monday my CC had not been charged and when I logged into my account there was no order showing so I grabbed a wish card (this time) and re-ordered. I got an email confirmation, all good.

Today I got a call from CM to talk to me about the order issue on Saturday, as they couldn't see another, they tried to reprocess it but couldn't as the code had already been used, they wanted to check if I may have multiple accounts and didn't want to double up my order. There is no record of my second order (number) in their system.... They are looking into it and will sort it out - I think it would be worth other members who also jumped on the mystery Cab log into their accounts, to confirm the order is there - even if you received the confirmation email.

The purchase has come off the wish card and tracked through Cashrewards.
