Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Just got an SMS from Cracka, similar to the offer above, but with expiry now Sunday 11.50pm. (celebrating their 7 years and 1M cases sold). Might have a crack at this (pun intended) - any stand out (reds)?
higher plane the messenger 2012 stood out for me, if you like MR Cab blends.

Not sure what to think of cracka as a business. Today I just canceled an order I placed on the 8th Sept, after my recent order enquiry received the exact same generic email I got from the initial enquiry nearly 2 weeks ago "unfortunately there has been a delay...the wine is due to arrive in our warehouse within 10 working days"

May be just a bad experience, but I think I'll join others who steer clear of cracka

Cracka works via a highly automated platform, but is prone to mistakes and wrong listings, I suspect there is insufficient oversight at various stages of the process, including when there are delivery delays for wines not held in stock.
My last order (Allegiance Unity McLaren Vale Shiraz 2015) went through Ok, but the prior two orders failed as they had the wrong vintages listed and the one I ordered in each case wasn't available.
Not one of the places I buy from except in exceptional circumstances of wine and price.

Collected my Cellarmasters order yesterday; very happy with the Avatar and looking forward to trying it (plus the Riedel champagne glasses are a nice bonus).

Langtons email received this morning (unfortunately just picked up a case of Bordeaux, otherwise I'd have been temped):

Chateau Chantecaille Clauzel symbolises what Langton's is all about.

In every wine region there are hidden gems awaiting discovery. Bordeaux is no exception. And we are happy to announce that Bordeaux 2014 has landed.

Few outside France know the region better than Langton's co–founder Andrew Caillard MW. He's visited Bordeaux countless times since the 1980s and attended the en primeur tastings just about every year since 2004.

He ranks Chantecaille Clauzel – a tiny (0.4ha) property on the border of St-Emilion and Pomerol – a great discovery.

Chantecaille Clauzel is wedged between vines owned by Chateaux L'Evangile and La Dominique. Illustrious near–neighbours include Cheval Blanc, Petrus and Gazin.

If the cards had fallen differently Chantecaille Clauzel's fruit would be incorporated in a wine much more famous – and much more expensive.

'The story of Chantecaille Clauzel is extraordinary because of its physical location, impressive terroir and wonderful quirkiness. Perhaps it is only a matter of time before it disappears… In the meantime we should relish this accident of history and enjoy one of Bordeaux's rarest, most interesting and best value wines.'
Andrew Caillard MW

2013 Bin 28 on CM... Too late for the $100 off deal, but comes in around $19 if you have a $50 voucher

Thanks for that- missed out on the 389, but this will do. Easier on the hip as well.
I had a $20 amex offer as well, so for me it was $111.20 less cash rewards for 6 bottles....pretty nice!

Cash rewards tracked at $11.45 so $16.63 per bt

Any recommendations for CM?
Something over $170 total to combine voucher and amex offer.

The Penfolds bin 28 should be good, as is the Pirie Sparkling if you like Tassie sparkling's.

The '13 Maverick Cab blend is back as well
