Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Buy 2 cases of wynns black label cab $312 -$100(Groupon) to 212. Worked out around $17.66667 each put that $10 back on the total will be $18.5.. it’s a very good buy.

For those who are short of Groupon $100 vouchers for Cellarmaster, they are now in stock again!

Just have 2 cases of Wynns Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2016!

Thanks team
I avoided the groupon vouchers last time because the lack of quality wines so your assistance is much appreciated.
My score is $314 click and collect plus $9 Groupon after cash rewards
Minus $19.80 cash rewards ( 7% pre gst)
Minus $10.70 e-gift
Minus $100 voucher
=$192.50
= $16 a bottle
Pretty good going for Wynns Black Label. It took until December to achieve that price for the last vintage.
Thanks Birdyzone

I agree, and thanks for sharing. 6 cases are getting ready to be picked up. Can't have enough of the black label

Sadly, it looks like CM are out of the Wynns Black Label cab, or they're hiding it until people stop using vouchers. I can't find it by searching their site or by a Google search (clicking on a cached link results in an error). :-(

it proves $18.5 for a black label is a very good (almost too good) buy.

I did warn people that this would happen.

Its happened every time this wine has been on for sub $20 price.

5 cases for me arrived yesterday. Another 10 due next week.

Quickest Cellarmasters delivery ever for me.

At under $20 a bottle, however you get there, buy as much as you are able to now :)

And act immediately. In previous years this has sold out when sub $20 a bottle.

Speaking of Black Label DM has the 2010 cellar release for $25 a btl. $22.80 after the usual discounts isn't horrible for an aged release. Scores were mixed for the 2010 but recent tasting notes look positive.

This is a good price.

I'd buy, if I didn't already have some.

Hi Dr Ralph
Have you tried the 16 yet? And if so do you think it’s in the same league as the 15?
I could only brave 12 seeing I managed to buy the 15 in October, December, March and April at this price, but it looks like there maybe a few more fans on the bandwagon now. Here’s hoping Cellarmasters keeps feeding the addiction

Have been waiting to see what others opinions are on this. I have had both and I have to say the 16 is nothing compared to the 15. Although you could say the 16 is just showing nothing because its way too young, and for some reason the 15 is in a really big open and generous 'drink now' style.

Its really confusing - the second night of drinking the 16 the wine turned into a bottle of almost pure menthol, it was so strong i couldnt taste anything else wheras the first night it was just drab and boring even after a 2+ hour decant. Not rushing out to buy it, but i would buy a hell of a lot more of the 15 if i ever see it on special again.

Not tired. Unlikely to do so for at least 5 years, probably more like 10.

I've never been disappointed by any vintage of this wine, though. This is a wine I purchase every year.

And remember this wine made the latest Langtons classification list:

A list of Australia's finest wines has been revealed | Daily Mail Online

I've very much doubt that a current tasting of it would accurately reflect what it will be like in a decade.
