Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Do careful diligence, I suspect you're looking at 6-bottle cases there.

Dan's website lists the 144 price for a 6 bottle 'pack'. These are definitely 6 bottle cases.
From the lack of mentions on the internet - my guess is these are a produced for Dan's label so treat rrp as overquoted.
at $12.50 a bottle could be worth a punt if you're after a dozen everyday drinkers

Edit: Though - depending on your varietal preferences - you can pick up 2 of the $88 wynns bundles for not much more at the moment

CellarOne offer Brookland Valley Reserve Cabernet 2013 for $36.66 a bottle - Customer Login

96 Halliday, 94 Winefront and Huon thought it was pretty good (but I can't see exact details due to paywall). I think Brookland Valley is an under-rated winery. In addition, I thought 2013 was a very good year in Margaret River.

Coincidently vintage 2012 was my current drink. Very well balanced with no cigar nose/taste as is common for Cabernet.
I would mistake it for a shiraz.
Part of Cracka's Critic case $125 way back in 2016. This was the standout with rp $75

Browsing DM and I noticed they still have the aged shiraz and Cab packs available
https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_B999999000732/iconic-cellar-release-barossa-shiraz-bundle
(St henri 10, meschash 10, old block Yalumba) etc
Shopback also doing 9% cashback, which is usually on the full price, works out somewhere between 52-55 a bottle (sorry maths not up to scratch)
Tks a bunch for that - we first bought these like yonks back - just grabbed another 2 packs - with GIFT / SB ~$51.72/bott IMCAC

Edit: Wasn't as long ago as I thought - I previously bought these on Nov 6 and Nov 18, 2018.

Hey Cruiser Elite,

Can you confirm that the Shop Back tracked OK against the full price bundle of $755? Also what's the wait time for the cashback?

Thanks
Warlock

Just a quick one, I've been trying to decipher the latest JD Cellars offering #139 but I'm stymied on this one:
Get ready to rumble for some South Australian Shiraz. Here comes, Secret Wine # 139
"Offering fabulous fruit purity and poise, this refined rendition of the variety shows dark plum, blueberry, violet, thyme and almond characters on the nose. The palate is plump and fleshy, displaying excellent depth and intensity, superbly supported by fine texture and silky tannins. Youthfully charming and delightfully enjoyable. At its best: now to 2027 "

At UNDER $15, you'll be pressed to find better value than this SINGLE VINEYARD, 5 STAR Halliday Shiraz.

Anyone have an inkling (searched Halliday but couldn't get any traction)?

Sounds reminiscent of a Sam Kim review to me?
