It's not always consistent, but likely.Does shop back calculate the rebate based on the 'full' price for the secret selections?

Finally got to try one of my three bottles. I think it is a nice wine with one issue that makes me glad I did not get anymore. First, the premium, heavy bottle, is accompanied by a 55mm cork that seemed a bit loose and easy to extract. The wine shows very nice secondary characteristics after airing, cedar and spice, both on the nose and palate, and the tannins are exquisite. This would have been a superb wine except for the acidic finish, which is overly sour and reminds me of green snakes and warheads.

Seems like a lot of Clarendon Hills stuff is being cleared out at the moment. The $80 for $20 ones might be better value...couldnt think of any where else to put this, but years ago I used to buy heaps of booze from dans,
got a call from head office of an offer of 2015 clarendon hills astralis shiraz, for $350,
apparently it retails for $400 and it got voted 100 pts bla bla bal and limited to me cos Im special bla bla bla
is this a screaming bargain or good investment,
thinking about buying a few to drink and to cellar?
Sure sounds like it from the description: Allegiance Wines The Artisan Barossa Valley Shiraz 2016
Anyone know what this is? Could it be The Artisan Shiraz?
I got a call from them as well offered Larry Cherubino Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 for A$35/bottle, and 2015 clarendon hills astralis shiraz, for $350. Do not believe it is a great deal!couldnt think of any where else to put this, but years ago I used to buy heaps of booze from dans,

Anyone tried this wine before? Your views on this deal?Sure sounds like it from the description: Allegiance Wines The Artisan Barossa Valley Shiraz 2016
Average. Better value elsewhere. Wouldn't buy again.Anyone tried this wine before? Your views on this deal?
oh, so im not that special then !?!?!
their sales pitch was 9000 bottles produced, 100pts ratings, even the clarendon hills themselves were selling it for $400 on their webpage, and at $350 its a steal!
i saw langtons selling it for $400 as well,
so thought it might have been a screaming bargain or even a good investment
id consider it a baragin if it was going to sell out quickly or increase in value straight away,So $50 off from $400 a bottle ? How’s that a bargain? Am I missing something here?
id consider it a baragin if it was going to sell out quickly or increase in value straight away,
obviously not the deal of a lifetime,
$150 would be a screaming bargain!
Thanks DrAverage. Better value elsewhere. Wouldn't buy again.

It is almost certainly the Artisan.

I and my quaffer-pack friends (and favourite local Thai chef) like this a lot, plenty of flavour and good body/balance without being too tannic, not in the hunt for $60, good value at $15-$18.Anyone tried this wine before? Your views on this deal?
