Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

whenever there is a declassified wine, that means that year vintage is not up to standard, but tyrrells vat 1 2015 has a very high rating as well as the quality.
It’s a tricky one - if it’s genuinely a declassified/relabelled Vat 1, it’s still a great price even if a difficult year. JH gave it 95. Anyone know for certain(ish) or tried it?

there is a offical release of vat 1 2015, i think the dan sales might have it mix up with another wine.

I can’t find the official Vat 1 2015 on sale though. And it is true that Lovedale 15 was declassified and being sold openly as such on MWG. They did same with 2006 Lovedale many yrs ago - started out as official release but then relabelled as Anne Semillon.

25% + 12.6% + 5% is some enticing discounts - just a shame there aren’t a better array of top end reds to have a crack at - I might grab 6 x Leconfield Sydney Reserve @~$41 or so after all discounts IMCAC

May also be worth looking around on DM with the DIGIDEALS - it appears to be counting the spend price on the original prices, not the discounted prices so could be some bargains to find.

ie. I picked up 6 x Woods Crampton The People's Champion Barossa Shiraz for $85, so after egift and SB will be around $12 a bottle, but even if you only add 3 bottles to cart it will be total of $45 for 3 bottles. (Edit: buy 8 for best price)

Black Puma Pyrenees Shiraz 2013 would come back at around $25.60 after egift/SB if buying 4 bottles, but probably cheaper if combined with other purchases

Thanks Chonka. I was playing around with the qty and found that the check out price is the same for 6 and 8 bottles. So I got 8 bottles for $85 check out, minus SB and eGC, will be <$10/btl!

Noted, thanks Chonka, down to 1 bottle of that now and we enjoy it, might wait.

CM website is being weird, every time to go to the card the discount is different. Varies from $0 to $112 for my order.

Yep, around $8.60 a bottle when buying 8 bottles, nice... And thats for 975ml bottles!

Cant believe i missed that, as 'Spend $300 get $75' would have applied, even though only spending $85

Thanks for the heads up on CR increase to 8% vyralmonkey. At $7 a bottle I couldnt resist to grab 8 more Crampton.

Just to confirm though - the 8% CR cashback is for DIGIDEALS, not all wine

Just picked up 8 of these for $85, CR tracked at the full amount of $304 for $24.32 which is a $7.59 per bottle price.

Thanks for the heads up.

edit: forgot the WISH card - makes it just over $7 a bottle.
