Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Any feedback on the Avon Brae Moculta 2018? It's back again as a mystery wine, but it's not a brand I've tried before. (CM are using the 2017 description, but matches Avon Brae) I know it's made for cellarmasters, but it's one that seems to get decent reviews elsewhere.
Might be worth a punt judging by reviews on Vivino. With a $25 voucher and 7% Shopback, comes in at under $11. 2018 was a good vintage for Eden Valley.

I had a dozen of this recently and it's a lovely drop, lots of up-front dark fruits, good length and drinking very well for a young wine...

Ending tonight/tomorrow, besides pinot noir and chardonnay, is 50% off wine storage @ Kennards - you can reserve/lock-in a unit/price now without any obligation, and move-in/pay up to 30 days later :)

2019 Frederick Stevenson Dry Red (MB94) $25.20 @ Different Drop using SO LONG SUMMER - ends tonight

Interesting looking at the sizing for kennards - they list a 72 case wine locker as1.2m sq. That feels more like 40-50 case locker to me. I find the inconsistency between different storage places quite frustrating for price comparison purposes.
According to KSS it is 72 cases of the wine box they sell.
Which might be 490mm x 325mm x 165mm
That sounds fair, and on that basis a case is 0.02654 cubic metres
So 1.2m / 0.02654m = 45 boxes, a far cry from 72 cases!
You're trying to divide 1.2m sq by 0.02654 cubic metres - the former is area, the latter volume?

Went in yesterday to check out the wine lockers at Waterloo, and the 72 case locker was indeed far bigger than the indicative 1.2sqm.
Glad to hear - yes, their listed capacities do actually correspond correctly with their box size :)

Am now a happy renter for the bargain price of $55 p/m for the next 12 months. Curious to see if the price doubles when the renewal comes up 😁
If you didn't receive a $50 referral credit, then it's still possible to have one applied retrospectively :)

Hahaha yes good pick up there qaz, they were only listing sqm, my natural assumption was that was cubic metres! Maybe it's just me, but it seems slightly unintuitive to only give you two dimensions of a storage space (and selling themselves short! My guess is the storage space ended up being ~2.5 cubic metres 😁

I did not ask for a referral credit at the time, thanks qaz, but will enquire about a retrospective credit once I'm back from an overseas trip.
