Vintage Cellars Darlinghurst still had some WB Platinum and Black yesterday, and some of the $5 cellar sale whites.
But most of the good stuff are gone. Been eyeing the Bannockburn Serre PN but they said they had no idea what stock are coming in general, its a bit of a pot luck from the warehouse.

Plenty of cellar sale stock left at Vintage Cellars Beecroft.

I picked up Battle of Bosworth Shiraz, and Barossa Valley Estate Shiraz for $10 each. Heaps of both reds and whites on sale of every variety.

I think bannock was always @$20 when did you last go before today’s visit ?

I rarely go into a VC store, it was the Douglas. I checked online and it was $30 at DM, my interest was because of the cab/pinot/merlot blend

Chandon sparkling Pinot Noir Shiraz $10 at 1st choice forestville, SYD. I'm actually not keen on sparkling red, but this might be light. Or not.

Tonight I went to 1st choice north rock syd, pick up Florian Mollet Pouilly-Fume for 10, spring vale Melrose Pinot. There are around 6-7 btls leeuwin char at 105, not sure they will price match. Petaluma merlot 07 $30 >6btl, Bremerton old Adam 14 15 $30 3 btl

So not wanting to feel left out I called my closest VC being Brighton East - Tegan was a star - she put 4 Plats + 1 BL aside for me - I added 2 x Shadrach in store:



Tegan then searched nearby stores for me - Brighton zero - Balaclava 5 + 5 so headed there:



Dude ringing up sale had a malfunction and only charged me for 4 x BL - such is life

VC Albert Park, Elsternwick, Elwood and Sth Yarra still have some stock Plat + BL if anybody interested

VC prices are often higher than FC, even on specials and clearance items. Can try price match but most will not do that on clearance stock.

I've had some great success in Brisbane. I spoke to one employee and asked if they were reordering any more stock and he said they had tried but most orders were getting bounced so I think that is it. I just had another look at Newstead this morning and it is basically all gone except for the odd cheap sauv blanc etc.

They also had the 2017 pinot but looks like that's all gone.
