Invoice says 2017 after purchasing so you would hope it’s not the 2013!Would be a shame if this one was the 2013 being cleared out. I assume it's the '17. Funnily, Vivino rates both about the same... Halliday is but one guy I suppose

for those not members, Auswine have/had them
And another. I was hovering over the 2017 Blackwell with a $20 cellarone voucher and boomed on the Glen Eldon instead. 4.5 on Vivino is impressive, with 203 voters.Just did the same trick - hopefully it is a goodie! worth the risk at that price

I had a quick look at a sample of the reviewers. They don’t seem to be fakes/profiles that have only left the one review (as some have found with the Curtis). This better not be a Curtis
Marius wines are old school awesome. I've had some Symphony, Simpatico and special release 14 Resurrection in the past. Trophy wines that need some age. Haven't tried the 18's but get some quickly ... if you can.Interesting context, tempted to buy them given it's the last release.
Are they worth buying - the tWF reviews seem to indicate they are.

Might be a little too late. Here's what I've got from Roger:
Dear mini2,
The demand for the 2108 wines has been unprecedented. The wines sold out yesterday, on the day of release.
Next year is the final release of Marius, I think only the 2 Shiraz will be released. Unless he puts limits on the original long-term customers on his "pre-release" list there may not be any for the second wave. And I've already been roundly condemned on my own Forum for suggesting that limits might be placed on pre-release list orders.Doh, guess I'll jump on it next year... though I presume those very final bottles will go flying at this rate.

I can’t help but assume a genuine 4.5 would not be available at this price, but It doesn’t need to be a 4.5 for $20.
I've never had a Curtis wine, but for me the evidence is with Mr 99 points Halliday giving there top Shiraz ($100) an 89 - ouch! It's funny, vivino structure changed a little while ago, but when it used to focus on the top 25, or whatever it was called, they had on occasion intercepted and removed what appeared to be fake reviews. I think the fake reviews appeared to come back, but this time, the profiles had reviewed a few other random wines in a short space of time

I really should pay more attention when I fling money at things!Invoice says 2017 after purchasing so you would hope it’s not the 2013!
That's a good result.
