Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Not a bad price from FIRST CHOICE - First Choice Liquor | Buy Wine, Beer, Cider & Spirits Online

With a gift card, <$23 in 6 pack.

If there'd better about pls advise

Quite recently there was a grey label debacle with DM's which many of us here stocked up on. It is perhaps why there's not much interest in it at the moment.

But if I had to purchase it, would probably go for the cellardoor.co lottery offer. They do have straight shiraz but I personally prefer the blend, its a selection of '12, '16, '17 vintages, and there's a chance you might get lucky and score a plat label gift (otherwise most likely a brown or grey).

celllardoor.co,

Purchase a case of Penfolds Tribute Range 'The Creative Genius' Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 or Penfolds Tribute Range 'The Noble Explorer' Shiraz 2017 and receive 50% off your second case.

" As the festive season is kicking off, we’re looking to celebrate all things Wolf Blass with a special mystery gift offer! For a limited time only, when you purchase selected Wolf Blass wines below, you can choose a bonus mystery bottle.* Now, we’re not here to ruin the surprise, so we can’t tell you exactly what your gift will be. However, we will say that Wolf Blass favourites like the exceptional Platinum Label Medlands Vineyard Barossa Valley Shiraz might be in the mix - it’s the luck of the draw! Pick your Wolf Blass mystery bottle when you purchase select wines.* Offer ends 26th November 2020. One bonus bottle per transaction. "

So... Theoretically Yes, Realistically No.

It's the equivalent of vinomofos 1 in 100 boxes includes grange promos. Where it sounds great but realistically that's equivalent to free shipping when averaged out

Bonus bottle works with individual bottle purchase. Black label (2016) for $91 plus bonus bottle worth it?? From memory the 2016 wasn't rated as highly as other vintages.

Again, the worth of Wolf Blass products are very subjective right now after the DM's "sale". It's an okay-ish deal if you are going off RRP, but to the raiding party here whom pillaged our local green stores, it's a definite pass.

True. I jumped on that one too though not to the extent you did it would seem! Haven't tapped a 2016 BL as yet. You had a chance? Was thinking of letting it lie for a good few years first.

2015 was drinking very young when I had it. Some years left.

Likewise, mine are going into the leave and forget corner when I get around to rearranging. Others tell me it's brooding and unbalanced right now - don't touch.
