Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Has anyone else received a text from cellarmasters this morning asking to contact them about their purchase? I'm guessing they're going to try to tell me they can't sell it to me

Did you end up calling them back?

Unless I’m reading it incorrectly it’s allowed and my purchase last night was tracked immediately.

I stand corrected. I was looking at Shopback who doesn't honour gift cards

So went round the corner to Dans who were prepared to match the price even though it was no longer in stock at cellar masters based on a screenshot I had taken. All was looking good only they had no stock of the 2017 😩☹️😩
But it is in stock? Edit - I stand corrected - it is out of the stock now

Pretty sure it's well below cost.

Retail margin on Penfolds is ~10% excluding supplier funded promos.

If fulfilled it would be out of goodwill
10%?

It would have to be more than that.

False alarm, called them and they just wanted to check it was a legitimate order given I ordered quite a bit of stock! All good.
😂😂😂

I've just had a missed call from interstate, I think it was spam tho?

I did want some White Wine as normally female friends of mine tend to drink white, is this a good deal for $80 including free shipping?
It depends on how you look at it, it is a great deal for $6 a bottle if it keeps your female friends off your newly acquired Bin 389
Just don't expect Cloudy Bay, Edit - I pulled a trigger re-reading what I wrote.

I find NZ Sauv blanc much of a muchness so always go for cheapest
They also taste pretty much similar however some really cheap ones could be quite nasty. The selection in the March special dozen looks ok actually if you google them individually

I took a punt on this for $94.50 with the discount code. Plus 7% cash back hopefully with CR.
Never tried 389 and assuming the white is worth $20 happy to try a bottle for $70ish...
Thanks for sharing the code!

I think it is a good deal if you enjoy a nice Chardonnay. It is worth around $25-30 so getting a single 389 for $70 is a great buy.

For those with new joiner or referral credit on CD you can get Wynns John Riddoch for $85 after $20 credit discount, looks like a good price

Hahaha to be honest, I'll drink those bottles alone! The only person who appreciates that wine with me would be my brother and he has a much better wine collection than me.

CD? Sorry, refresh my memory.

I may be a member, or I'd definitely be up to signing up as I 100% want a JR bottle!!!!
