Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

That appears to be a pretty good price Sedimental. Am I to assume that your local is now replete with your $ and you have additional bottles for your cellar?

I got this today in one of my orders, but can't find any information on it at all anyway - my google-fu has failed me.

See you Tues, if there is any left :o

Don't know whether anyone has guessed this yet but the JD Cellars Secret Wine #91 today is the 2013 vintage of this little beauty: Our Wines I'm absolutely certain. Very tempting although I'm trying to resist as usual....

Edit: 2013 vintage matches price of $35

Seems like the Ironscraper's prices have fallen back to its 'normal' level - managed to snatch 6 bottles at $13 each + BPA, IIRC it was high teens back in January when everyone have to re-stock on quaffers. Couple bottles of Voyager Estate CSM 2011 at $36 a bottle and 2013 V&A Lane cab shiraz for $26 a bottle. There goes my wine budget for the month

We were bidding against each other on the 6 x Ironscrapers :(

I picked up some more ironscraper as well a few other beauties tonight. Tonight did seem less frantic than it's been since Xmas

Mine are in silent repose in my wine rack. Keeping them for a future "layered" tasting....

Interesting to see that in the pic all vintages are shown with stelvin seals. Some time ago I purchased a dozen of the 2000 vintage which all have corks. Opened one bottle probably in 2014, which I totally disliked. It seemed to be very high in tannins IIRC. Cork seal was holding up well though. Hope yours are good.

A lot more civilised. I picked up a some over the last few weeks and yes definitely the price is dropping back to low teens, and NO I was not bidding against either of you tonight on them I was chasing a couple for the cellar. Cheers and lets hope the auctions stay this way.
