Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

I bought the Woods Crampton mystery dozen last time and liked it a lot so I just ordered one this time and try their other brands!
It would be a boon petertwister if someone could report back on the contents of the dozen (once arrived) for future reference despite the fact that they are variable case to case, not suggesting tasting notes just vintage and wine:)

How does one gain access to The Sippery after signing up at Robert Oatley?

I've not had them before, but they look very nice! I'll have to go and have a look. The back vintages of Tapanappa was the 2013 and 2014 Tiers Chardonnay, they were both divine! They are sitting in the corner of the cellar for around 5 years tho, give them time to mellow yellow!

I used to buy Barratt last century when Jeffrey Grosset was their contract winemaker, but haven't drunk them since due to poorer availability/distribution, though Nick's currently stock them

qaz, I don’t have your photographic memory sorry- I wish I did :(

I don't have one either - I use search :)

Talking about Semillon, not sure if it is a news to anyone but the Kemeny's label 3433 at $10 seem to me like Mount Pleasant Cellar Release Elizabeth.
Tyrrells and Mount Pleasant do my favourite Hunter Semillon :)

Note that unlike their Secret Labels, Kemenys' Hidden Labels are not the same as the proper label released by the winery but instead made of declassified fruit/barrels

Thanks for posting that Qaz.
$15 is a great price for that Tyrrell's Sem, I missed it too :(

McWilliam's still have Mount Pleasant Elizabeth Semillon 2016 for $15

That's the thing with Auctions, as soon as someone posts it cheap, people drive the price up!

In this case it was a two-hour buy-now flash sale :)

Rcvd email also - BUT - am I correct that 30% off is for ‘wine’ only and not applicable to ‘champagne’?

Previously their codes were truly sitewide, but now there are unadvertised exclusions (champagne, discounted/sale items, mixed packs) :(

Now/still $14.70 using SMASHINGBOTTLES for 30% off

I have a $20 referral link for first time order for the slippery, I'm not exactly sure on the site where I should post them.
But I am sure other members have them too, if you do a search.

Thanks - perhaps I'll need to try with a proper email address as opposed to a disposable one, or...

Possibly post in Referral Offers

When does the $20 credit expire? A month after registering, similar to Cellar One and cellardoor.co?

Nice wide range of brands (e.g. Charles Heidsieck, Oakridge, Pikes) but of course what are their prices and deals/offers like? Maybe some screenshots as I did for Cellar One here?

Damn, why didn't I think of that :( 50% off would have been fantastic :) What did you buy?

I wasnt to greedy, as i wasnt sure order would be honored. Nice selection though. I'm sure SV still picked up good sales from the codes promoted in this thread.

Besides pinot noir, Wynns Coonawarra Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonos One offer):

Thanks to Winefront, it seems that Dan's currently have all 2009 & 2010 Bordeaux including Sauternes similarly reduced :)
