Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

I think the Maurice O'sea is the best of the package. The increase in the price of this wine over the last 5 years is staggering.
Just order 2 lots.
Love the maurice O'Shea, it was one of the first ones that made me go 'wow, so this is what those snobs are on about'
I remember finding this in Tesco when I went back to Ireland for 25Euro on special, I shared one that night with my dad, and kept one.
It's always been my special wine, had it at a memorable meal at Aria (my first 'wow' wine), bought a few over the years, usually when ever I went to hunter, and managed to drink them all at my wedding. When they announced the 2014 was $250, I was shocked, having bought it for $80 in the past.

I've previously bought at around $50, so was even more shocked :)

As usual cash rewards tracks at full retail value, so $50.65 per bottle.

Gotta keep a $500 one on hand for deals like this as well as the cellarmaster ones that come up once in a while.

I use to like it, full of oak Shiraz ,still have 00,05,06,07.not buying anymore.

They do have a longer history than Henschke but I think they pushed too far for this O’Shea Shiraz , just like Penfolds.

On the other hand I bought a few of their single vinyard 2014 which cost less than O’Shea and a better wine(s)

You could have got it at $50 off last week with CRACKAPAYPAL.

Maybe still can: Paypal | Cracka Wines

The code was apparently supposed to apply to only the wines on that page, but seemed to apply site wide at least for a while until they noticed the frenzy from Ozbargain and my site.

Damn, I've spent enough on wines today between cards, both personal and business. Not about to go and dip in for more, but others may find it useful (if it still works).

Stuff it, I weakened, tried and it worked so picked up

Well the invoice listed the O'Shea as $46.50 after the discount. Very close to your previous purchase.
So the most valued is Henschke at $110

Wynnsday is the day Wynns release their latest wines. The first Wednesday of August, every year, Coonawarra collectors wait for their latest dozens of Black Label and to see which of Wynns reserve wines they can access. While this is also a John Riddoch release year, Wynns head winemaker Sue Hodder has done something very special with the 2016 Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon. Andrew Caillard has declared it ‘a brilliant black label’ and awarded the wine 98 points. An incredible follow up on the previous anniversary vintage which Huon Hooke awarded 98 points on release.

2016 Wynns Black Label Cab Sauv for $32 per bottle or down to $28.65 for 6 pack.

A great wine, that I buy every year.

I'd encourage people to wait though. Before the end of the year it will be available for around $20 a bottle.

Prices for 6 pack I purchased mirrors Ralphy's.

If not less - it has been available over recent years in $15-$16 bracket so definitely wait.

@Steady , just spoke to JP from Langtons. Only 59 Tolpuddle Pinot Noir 2016's left.

I picked up a 6 pack of Wynns and he's also got me hooked to try 2 x Hughes & Hughes Pinot Noir 2017 for $32 bottle.

Gonna be an expensive month, need to max out my winestar gift vouchers as well :/

Winestar vouchers are valid for 12 months. I know in the past I have used them after 9 months and not had a problem.
yea, I mean the initial outlay in buying them :D

Wynns John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 got a 99 for Andrew Calliard , hope winestar stocks it, i'll shoot them an email

i didn't see any of these prices after the 2010 vintage, i missed on the 12,13,14, just recently bought the 15 from cellarmaster.

Another Hole in the pocket, though not as well discounted as the O'Shea pack.

I am pretty sure it was Groupon $100 Vouchers but you had to spend min $190 from memory - so we got delivery to country address to get over the $190 threshold given virtually nothing on site for C & C - but jeez Nov 6 is way too many Champs / Reds ago for clear and precise memory details.
