Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

I just picked up some Church Block at 4 for $40. It still had $25 on the shelf so I had to ask the operator to price check. I should have got them to scan the whole store but there wasn’t much else of interest.
I tried at my local, still scanned for $24, the other wirra wirra scanned at $25.

Has anyone bought from Cheaper by the Dozen before?

Seems to have some decent prices on Purple Hands and After Five Wine Co. Varieties. $15 for Purple Hands and $25 for After Five Wine Co.

They also have a deal for a free dozen Iron Gate Estate wine (Whites) with any order over $79.99. at your selection to cart. Not sure of quality of these those.

Came across them a few years ago, though never bought from them - nice find, good prices there for Purple Hands and After Five - Kemenys had PH grenache for $14.95 last month

I hope it's not the de-classified batch.

already confirmed as Quintet

In the famous words of Pauline - Please explain.

Réflexion

Another option is 375ml bottle of heathcote estate Shiraz or Shaw and Smith Shiraz for $10

I forgot about half-bottles, else Shaw+Smith Shiraz 2016 - JF97, CM(WF)96, NS/HH95 - would definitely have been the best buy

For clarity this is if you order 1 bottle only and can live with your environmental consciousness. Yes, it's technically possible. No, it's not a good idea.

Why not a good idea?

It was incredibly misleading advertising (I'd actually argue in breach). T&Cs had the real information. Cellar Door are really dropping the ball recently.

How was it misleading? What were the T&Cs?

Carboot have back-vintages: 2014 Quartz $124.95, 2013/2014/2017 Block 5 $149.95, 2014 Original Vineyard $99.95 (less with $50 voucher)

Is that Krug from CellarMasters? If so, have you checked the Krug ID to see when this was disgorged?
Well it took a while but we got there - after a couple calls and a weeks wait Senior CM dude finally addressed my queries - the Krug has only been in CM's Tanunda storage whouse (12deg) for a short period before sale - it came direct from Moet Hennessey Aust so I think you could reasonably assume it has been whoused correctly since arrival into AU.

Proof of the pudding will be Sat nt now that friends have been released from captivity

FTR: whouse = warehouse and not coughhouse.

Mine arrived the other day. Will be cracking a bottle to start lunch on Sunday. Will report back too.

Phew, that's good news!
