YeppersFrom memory previously offered at a cheaper price.
Maison de Grand EspritAnd should we be considering this if we're ok with paying $50 for a plonk?

Maison de Grand Esprit
2015 Grand Esprit. Looks like it is from a negociant that sources fruit from right across france. Distributed internationally by TWE. There are very few St. Estephe wine that would justify a $200 rrp. Don't think this is one of them
Hilariously, I bought some a month ago and completely failed to notice this was the same wine! Far out, I've bought too much plonk in the last little while.Yeppers
11 Bucks or so a few months back
Supermarket shopping this afternoon and decided to have a peek in the BWS. Got some Pipers Brook Pinot at half price and the guy at the counter mentioned they had Meshach. I had the 10% off for 6 so decided to grab one for $90, but had to decide on vintage. Quick google search, Halliday has 98 for the 2012 and 96 for the 2010, but Vivino rated them at 4.3 and 4.5, so I got the 2010. Wondering if I made the right choice?

Hey chaps - here's what seems to be a good news shopback story...
A couple of weeks back I purchased $150 worth of wine at BWS (eight bottles of clearance wine). This earned me the $20 off for going over $150, plus the 10% for buying six or more bottles. A key reason why I bought at all was the 30% cashback through Shopback on offer at the time.
To my disappointment, the spend didn't come up as tracked on my shopback account, so I notified them of missing cashback using their standard form. They emailed me today to advise that it was ineligble as it had been refused by BWS because I had used a promo code on the order. So I told them (politely) that their offer had induced me into the sale and it was obvious that the click through their site was followed by a purchase with BWS minutes later and I bet they'd be able to claim their slice from BWS. I also mentioned that I'd heard they had form with this kind of fine print stuff. I went on to ask that they reconsider the refusal and credit me the amount, or I'd go to BWS, the ACCC and tell my friends on a wine forum or two. I said that of course, if they were able to give me the credit, I'd tell friends about my good experience. I also emailed BWS to say to them that they'd been named as having refused the credit and asked that they clarify.
Lo, this afternoon the amount is coming up in my account as tracked. Not yet confirmed so I'll hold my breath for a moment more, but it's looking better than it was. It's a small amount, only $25, but this pleased me rather.
If I were a business and had to deal with threats such as this over Cashback, I'd simply look to axe Cashback altogether as I feel it too risky.
Which is why, many business are shutting up Cashback.
Just my opinion, but hope you get your cashback
Hey hey, I only went hard on Shopback itself, which is a business which exists only to do cashback deals. I emailed BWS to verify what Shopback said to me... should I feel bad?If I were a business and had to deal with threats such as this over Cashback, I'd simply look to axe Cashback altogether as I feel it too risky.

for me the tracking rate has been about the same for both companies,I've given up on Shopback. I don't trust them. It's business lacking in integrity. I've had too many purchases not track and then be denied when I lodge a claim. In spite of telling them not to send me the same do's and don't that I am aware of and have followed they always tell me why a claim might not track.
More recently I have made sure to follow up with a terse email making it clear that the only reason I made the purchase was the net price after credits and that I expect them to follow up the retailer and demand their payment as it clearly shows as clicked through and there is an invoice to verify the transaction. After that, they have appologised and allowed the claim, albeit not always at the full rate. Even if I get the full credit it's an unplesant experience.
I haven't had as many issues with Cash Rewards.
Cash Reward has been good. I had three transactions recently, which did not get tracked. Once I raised the claims, they got it rectified quickly!I've had a lot of trouble with Dan's tracking with Shopback - the 3 or 4 from memory.
