Shopback continually searching for ways to disappoint us further.
indeed they do.
Shopback continually searching for ways to disappoint us further.
All still $198 here in the ACT. Booooooooooo!BWS has Meshach on clearance for $99, down to $89.10 with the 10% off C&C. There's a couple of bottles near me and assume they're the 2016.
Just got an email from Shopback. As an IT guy, I strongly recommend that do not put your sensitive data including DOB on the internet. I have seen so many example of the data leaking.
Usually, I will put 1st Jan 19xx(genuine born year)
10% off at BWS at the moment if you use their app, and the spend is over $50. Could be useful for some people who had their eye on some clearance items and just wanted an extra nudge to bring that price down even further.
BWS also have 10% off all pick-up orders over $50, so you can shop on your computer if easier.
Just ordered a bottle of Veuve LGD for $172.
202 QF points thrown in. Good value?
2006
I like the revolving box
Bollinger LGA seems decent too at $188 before BWS and Wish discounts

The wording does say it is their estate cab (the wilyabrup cabernet) that is $130. Amy's is not estate, it's sourced from Glenmore. Though I can see a bit of ambiguity there...Hi Boris Farmer,
Moss Wood is one of Australia's most iconic Cabernet producers and this delicious new release Moss Wood Amy's Blend 2018 is right up there with the best they make (with a 96pt rating from you know who!). Their Estate Cabernet is one of the 2 or 3 best Cab's in the country and sells out within days of its release at over 130.0 a bottle, so at just 35.0 this Amy's qualifies as a bona fide Bargain!
Now folks someone is setting themselves up to be hung drawn and quartered.
This sells in Danny at thirtees.
Am i wrong, in that it never sells foe $130. Not this blend anyway.
something a bit shifty here.
Amy's blend is a much cheaper one. Not sure how much better than this the estate is. I got some Amy's from the BWS clearance a month or so ago which worked out at less than half price once you bought in a six and got cashback.Hi Boris Farmer,

Hmm. i now get it entirely. Slightly dodgy but i give them the benefit of the doubt. Not being a Cullen or Moss Wood afficianado, the disparity is not obvious to me but to punters in this taste world, it was obvious. You see, the presence of a potential bargain has me excited. The wording does say it is their estate cab (the wilyabrup cabernet) that is $130. Amy's is not estate, it's sourced from Glenmore. After stumbling across BWS Baxter (VIC) store offering 200ml Lanson Black Label as a clearance special at $10.00ea - bear in mind only 1 in stock - I thought I would give Dan’s price beat a run this morn.
With screen shot on phone I first checked Dan’s Parkdale who had 23 in stock which the young dude readily matched so pmt with GC brought cost down to $9.50ea.
Then off to Cheltenham store where rep was ready to sell me another 24botts straight up but then started Googling and finally responded ‘Baxter is outside 20km radius of our store so cannot sorry’ - indeed in Dan’s Ts & Cs radius is 10km but Baxter is 30km away so was screwed here
Up to Dan’s in Brighton and again not a prob to price beat but computer only shows 11 in stock - ok I will take them all but sweep of shelves and fridge can only produce 4 botts total - 7 gone missing somewhere - but they did price beat at $9.50 ea
So all up 27 botts at net average after GC $9.43 - would have preferred 100 but I guess it’s a start

Their straight cab is a must try, 08 onwards they have been pretty consistent, so there's no vintages to avoid. Comparing icons, I rate it far higher than the Diana Madeline.Hmm. i now get it entirely. Slightly dodgy but i give them the benefit of the doubt. I have never had a Moss Wood yet.
Can i say if you're paying more than fiddy,, it better be worth it. Becoz......................Their straight cab is a must try, 08 onwards they have been pretty consistent, so there's no vintages to avoid. Comparing icons, I rate it far higher than the Diana Madeline.
I'm sure you have seen such advertising many times before. Here, let me tweak a few words and see if it sounds familiar:
Hi Boris Farmer,
Penfolds is one of Australia's most iconic producers and this delicious new release Penfolds Bin 389 is right up there with the best they make (with a 96pt rating from you know who!). Their Grange Shiraz is the most collected wine in the country and sells at over 750.00 a bottle, so at just $100.00 this "baby Grange" qualifies as a bona fide Bargain!
I guess its a bit more obvious if you know the products of the brand, but its a very used and abused sales pitch.

Thanks for sharing, I didn't know this existed! do you know how we can purchase the wines on that list? when I went onto their website only the pre-selected packs seem to be purchasable.besides beginning online tastings, COVID-19 has additionally resulted in the National Wine Centre now allowing people to purchase direct from their extensive cellar, which includes wines from last century (free delivery with 12+ bottles) - their website list is outdated, but I have uploaded a current one here, though these are no longer available:

Given the account details they have is your bank account number and BSB, there is minimal harm here with that information.
Pretty pathetic of someone who refuse to take responsibility on their selfish acts towards this group to criticise others here.
OzBargain users would say I was selfless in sharing the deal. Can’t please everyone.Pretty pathetic of someone who refuse to take responsibility on their selfish acts towards this group to criticise others here.
