Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

somewhat surprised that this is still available - or is everyone busy chasing $10 Liquorland specials instead?
I have to confess my ignorance with Sanglier and hard to find detail if not a FineWineCo member so I struggled to look into. Also not a big dozen buyer. I also am confessing to getting caught up in the hype .... a little 😂😂😂

The Sanglier is a regular on Vinomofo so maybe that’s why it’s not being bought.
I saw an offer on cleanskins direct from 6Ft6 and thought it could be worth $14.90 per bottle for the pinot....but it’s not even theirs!F5EC493E-9763-43AE-8BAA-1AB10BAA0CA8.png

I'd bite at $60 for 6 bottles, not really sure what I would do with 12 bottles... especially if I didn't like it.

Rather pay $20 a bottle and grab some UZ truffle hound.

Actually Corbett... yeah okay will take the punt, thanks @qaz for helping me to continually fuel the economy...

This seems like Giant Steps Harry’s Monster 2018 $28/btl plus delivery. Has been cheaper before at $20/btl recently at Langton’s.

Is there a good deal somewhere for Truffle hound or other UZ wine???? Loved their wines, especially their nero's

Just walked past a BWS and saw the Blackwell at $56. Made me smile.

Along with wanting to drink good wine, no doubt a huge motivator for many is the thrill of the bargain/seeing a wine you hold at 370% mark up

Agreed, although I wonder whether LL loses money on selling Blackwell @ $15 given CE mentioned a pizza shop couldn't get Blackwell via the wholesale channel @ less than $30.

I don't think they are loosing money at $15. Coles doesn't have the same buying power than a pizzeria

St Hallett Faith $11.50 a bottle for 3 hrs only at Cellar One. You do need to be a member:

Don't forget a referral link (mine or another's) if you aren't already a member - you get $20:

Using the $20 credit will bring this wine down to around $8.17 a bottle.

I thought rule of thumb was wholesale price at around 50% rrp. Even allowing for possible lower for bigger customers i'm betting 15 is below cost for the blackwell

Honestly, I have no ideas how much does St Hallet sell their wines to Coles but I have seen invoices from a big Australian wine distributor and I was amazed how cheap they can get the wines. I remember a $28 RRP Chardonnay that I was familiar with that costed the wine merchant $5 something.

I like the folk at UZ, so don't mind buying from them direct.

Cheapest I can find though is Kent Street Cellars -$20.99, which is cheaper than direct if it doesn't sell out.

Also, $10 off from referral (Kent Street Cellars | Alcohol Delivery Australia Wide) and free shipping on orders $100 and above.
