Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

no vintage mentioned - 2017 HH96, JO95

sorry forgot that there's 10% off when joining the free wine club with no obligation as a Limestone member, making it $31.67 delivered i.e. 10% off = $19 = delivery cost
Looks like the 10% suddenly not available for the mystery pack any more. Still great value though.
Thanks qaz!

2 days ago I got an liquorland invoice, it’s 3 bottles Blackwell, it has billing address, credit card payment 45, delivery fee 0. But I just add to the cart only. Their IT is bad.

Yesterday I went to blacktown dm, show the manager the bw link, she logon her acc then it show unavailable. Then she reject the purchase.

Today I went to Eastwood dm, pick the last 5 bottles and said only 5 bottles allowed. He said yesterday another guy picked 5bottles as well. Now bw in this shop is all gone. The st old block in here sells $75

I went to north Ryde. Pick 5 to the counter, the guy carefully check the website, actually it said unavailable, so rejected it this time.

If the staff doesn’t have nice face, it makes me feel I am going to take monkey from his pocket. no more bw for me.

I was about to go to pick up the final 5 bottles in EW. It was available 2 hours ago, it appears you got it. Happy someone in this forum got it. :)

Have any one tried the LDR? I know the Chardonnay is well praised for value.
I thought I’d give myself a treat tonight, had some 2019 Giant Steps LDR, supposed to be fresh and drunk whilst young...can’t imagine the bottle is faulty but it was very acidic, almost fizzy. Won’t be going back for more.

Clarendon Hills Bakers Gully Syrah 2006 $80->$30
Wine Advocate 93,

Big, supple and remarkably graceful for its size, with hints of cream, cedar and clove around a core of blackberry and pomegranate flavors, all coming together on a seamless finish. Has impressive length. Drink now through 2020.
94 points Wine Spectator Magazine

"A medium-bodied wine, with fine, fresh, almost slippery/juicy red fruits the main game in the mouth, but with darker notes in the background; fine tannins and a super-long finish." 96 points, James Halliday (August 2008)

You need a unique code to enter, try a random 4-5 digit number, no more than 30000 (I did receive 2 codes under 65000).

I haven't tried this one before, is it good? Is it better value then Glen Eldon Twisted Trunk Shiraz?

Thanks - I grabbed 6. I definitely didn’t need more wine but I guess I wouldn’t keep checking this thread if I didn’t want more...

Interested to hear if this one is good or past it. Have had some mixed times with Clarendon Hills recently, which surprised me given their rep but has made me a bit hesitant...

Any hint on what code would work? I tried for 10 minutes with random codes starting with 1xx_x and 2xx_x, nothing seems to work.

[4.1*] Still going strong. Lovely nose of smoke, leather, savoury spice and dark berries. On the palate there’s supple tannins, dark cherry, plum, blackberry leading to a long spice finish. 2006 vintage tasted 19/11/2018

While the wife is spending the night out with the girls, thought I might have something simple for dinner, bbq dry aged rib eye on bone paired with a McLaren Vale beast🐂 This has developed since 2 years ago. Thi gs have certainly softened and so damn delicious now. Drink in the next 2 years is my recommendation. -- #rockstarvino #rockstarsyrah #vivino #winestagram #instawine #homealone #steakandwine #clarendonhills #clarendonhillswinery #bakersgullys #clarendonhillssyrah

Did you get yours from the wine collective? I got a couple from there and did not experience what you had. I enjoyed it very much. Hopefully it was a one off
