Not on that night but I've had the BL Shiraz 10 & 12 several times.

Might have benefited from a decant. I think we opened it after finishing the first bottle (John Duval Entity 2012)

IMO the V&A cab shiraz is better than the straight shiraz
Both need a good ~3 hour decant if aged
The 2012 entity is a superior wine to both ;) I have a magnum of the 2012 to open next year for my 40th, signed by John. Hopefully we'll actually go to the cellar door/artisans to drink it with him!
 
Entity is a wine that doesn't attract a huge premium at auction. Langtons are reporting sales from this year on vintages as far back as 2005 that went under current retail (including buyer's premium). I paid $54ea for the two 2012s I picked up last year

$63 bidding for a single 2017 currently on Langton's.
