Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

I have tried using the 'find nearby' for stock and even the stores that show they have stock will not allow me to checkout unfortunately, not sure if any way around it. Eg near Brisbane it lists Woolloongabba, The Gap and Holland Park as having stock but then will not allow to check out 1x bottle.
edit: The Gap and Woolloongabba have one bottle each for pick up if anyone is interested

Has anyone tried? Some of the Grant Burge flagship wines are a bit hit and miss

I've had the Meshach (But not this vintage) several times in the past. Exactly what you expect from a big Barossa Shiraz. At this price point it's a decent deal.

I always enjoy Meshach.
But I don't think it's available. One of those DM order where until delivery section, it says not available. This is Vic any way.
I managed to grab one bottle on the gold coast. at least they tell me it's resdy to collect. will find out this arvo

I was told If it's available in store, you can do pick up. Apparently only a few bottles around available in the country.

I was told there was 1 bottle in Cheltenham, then I was about to pay, it showed OOS.

There was another 1 more bottle in Belmont, VIC.
So any one live close - can order and pick it up.

Yep I’ve had it quite a few times, used to be widely available at this price point after GB has been sold.

Agree that some of their “flagship” wines are not great but Meshach is a standout IMO. Was happy to grab few bottles < $60 after all discounts.

I have only ever had one Meshach a few years ago. WINE of the year that year for me. Their shadrach was average. Mine might have been the 2009 shiraz. Incredible wine.

I've had a fair few, courtesy of friends that mostly bought due to the 'set an insane RRP and discount' strategy. The 2009 stands out in my memory as being uncommonly good, the best I have ever had.

I had a '16 Shadrach on weekend that picked up for ~$45 via BWS. Was beautiful, silky an refined. Barossa Cabernet has always been my favourite wine, this reassured that.

Thanks for that.

I went for a case of bolly's fairly priced at 64 after discount. There's also the previously mentioned St Peters now @ $50 - (10% CR Cashback*) in a sixer, or the bin 28s ('16/'17) now $27ish.

*They did payout for the previous 10% littlebirdie vouchers
