Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

I haven't visit DM for couple months, tonight in clearance section I grap heartland director cut shiraz 16.7, bowen shiraz 13, Pio cesare 17, seppelt drumborg pinot 375ml 9, zonin valpolicella ripasso 10. I also saw art series Shiraz 30, I didn't pick.

I am drining zonin now. after 2 hrs, it is fully opened. it is also called entry version of Amarone. It re-press the grape skin, seed after pressing Amarone, then blend with Valpolicella. DM is selling 25,

I wouldn’t bother at all. They appear to dropship so it’s a lottery as to whether you’ll ever get your order at all - too many other good deals to be had from more reliable retailers
My Laithwaites order for Signet from end of April has finally been cancelled after numerous "we're waiting on our supplier" messages. It gets worse. Alternatives offered included Ardbeg 10 and Glenmorangie 10 that go for about $90. What a joke! Refund was an alternative and clearly taken.

Any DM in Brisbane is still having wine clearance sales? I just went to Springwood, they said their wine sales had finished, was like 80% off…

It's a lucky dip, I went to 4 stores and barely found anything.

It's individual to each store, basically you gotta enjoy driving around.

Where I found the Italian wine, the wine merchant actually took a lot of wine home themselves apparently.

If you have time to burn, and want to spend hours driving from store to store that's about the only chance.

This is VIVINO EOFY 20% off sale. Looks like it works even in those through VM products as well.
Just add the code at the end during checkout
Yes, an hour ago was working just fine for several sellers, however just went to process an order and saying "coupon not valid for that merchant" (Mscellars). Had lined up...
- Pegasus Bay Pinot at $54
- Chacra Pinot CyC Pinot at $76
- Ata Rangi Pinot at $78

A supplier that I've not dealt with before: Red Wine

Some good deals, selling quickly. Eg:

2016 penfolds bin 138 $24
2011 penfolds bin 8 $18
1995 Grant Burge Meshach $87

Some interesting stuff there but the website looks dodgy.
Also, no Amex or PayPal means no insurance if something goes wrong (not easy to get chargeback from Visa and MC).

This:

is Hemera Home Block:

Anyone had it? Some people seem to think it's rather good... but I'd trust you chaps more than just going with Halliday and a smattering of Vivino reviews
First offered in March. An alternate view from Winewise, the TN would seem to indicate the wine is brett-affected, Halliday notorious for not detecting brett in wines, or ignoring it. Screenshot-20220313-121912
