Kind of niche and not whisky, but Dans on Port Road in SA has Limeburners Infinity Cask on clearance for $103.60. I got 2 and reckon they've got about 4 left.
As a lover of SA Shiraz and reds style in general, the Mt Langi is one of my favourite Vic reds and is a great drop indeed. I'm pretty sure the 2004 is not going to get any better, but I'd imagine it would still be good. At $100 a clip, I'd say there is better value found elsewhere though.Dans currently has Mt Langi Ghiran Langi Shiraz 2004 for $100 a bottle. I have never tried it, but I know it gets rated by many. What are people's thoughts - would the 2004 be past its best, or does the Langi last forever? Halliday says drink by 2020, as does Gary Walsh...

Thanks - yeah, no bargain but I thought it could be reasonable value for an aged high quality wine if it still had some legs in it (particularly given the RRP of current releases is just under $200 nowadays). As a lover of SA Shiraz and reds style in general, the Mt Langi is one of my favourite Vic reds and is a great drop indeed. Had a couple of 2017 Reynella Shiraz and found it too thin and lackluster. Medium finish at best and I ended up selling them. Maybe it was the year or maybe I was unlucky with my batch, however it wasn't a patch on their previous vintages.Reynella Basket Press Shiraz 2017 $25 in a 6 @ Cellar One.
