Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Any idea what the JD secret wine #504 is?

As you know, I take my Secret Wine Series very seriously…and so should you. When a single vineyard, four year old Heathcote Shiraz like this pops up, there's no time to second guess.

Never before offered at JD Cellars (and from a Halliday 5 Red Star Winery)...Secret Wine # 504.

"Artfully made Rhône-inspired Shirazlaced with musky, potpourri-like scents of black and red berries backed by blueberries, dark cherries, underbrush and a hint of smoked meats. Medium to full-bodied, its long, penetrative palate of pristine forest berries and smoky, reductive notes are underpinned by fine, powdery tannins and culminate in a long, savoury finish with a mineral aspect." 95 Points Jeremy Oliver

For those of you new to my Secret Wine Series...it's all about
VALUE and ANONYMITY.

To protect the vineyard and the years of hard work building their brand, I agree to release this spectacular drop without divulging the name of either the vineyard or the wine. In return, they allow me to offer it anonymously for HALF PRICE!
The trust is between not only the winemaker and myself, but also myself and you...my valued customer. I only offer you the best of the best, and this is no exception. My reputation depends on it.

Here we go...

* 100% Heathcote Shiraz (Victoria)
* Excellent 2018 Vintage
* 5 RED STAR Halliday Winery
*
Single Vineyard
* Grown in Ancient Cambrian Soils
* Matured in French oak
* 14.5% alcohol
* Fully labelled/screwcap
* Never before offered at JDC

Picked up a few goodies from a Langtons unreserved auction that just finished tonight. Less competition than usual, people must be busy getting ready for lunch tomorrow!

Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz 2018 - $65
Voyager Estate Cabernet 2015 - $40

Ozbargain deal on champagne. I'm only starting my wine journey. So tend to listen and learn rather than post!
Good price, but sadly limited to one bottle... (Still, got my order in.)

Langton's has the new year sales 2023:-

Looks like the price of the 95 block and the Tahbilk Eric Steven are further reduced but they are all gone.

Any idea for all the other mystery packs especially those Black Friday Packs?

My guess for the following:-

https://langtons.com.au/product/958...v-shiraz-6-pack,-adelaide-hills?basket=116988
is Anderson Hills O series Shiraz 2018

is The Maverick Barossa Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Has anyone here had the Anderson Hills? I've jumped in on the Coonawarra cab dozen but was tempted by the bling on the shiraz
