Me too - then I noticed I was close to Vintage so bought the Pyrus and 3 x 2014 Black labels too. Both with the WB chardy 6 packs. Therapy or maybe something stronger??

Imo, there is no longer a need to preorder Standish. You can get it below retail on Langtons auctions if you are patient
Hmm i just checked a few sources and that seems to be true, Lamella and Schubert Theorum seem to be generally in much higher demand though and sell closer to rrp + or - a bit.

Anyone knows how good is the Standish 2022 release this year?

Doesn't look like they're getting released till 30th April, so i'm guessing we'll hear a lot more about them soon

I bought some of the 2019 on the back of big reviews, enjoying penley wines in the past and because I'm a sucker for cab blends. Seems to sell at real retailers for over $100. Unfortunately, I haven't tried it yet as I figure it needs years on it...
Yeah, a bit young for a premium cab blend…

besides wine tastings/dinners, chardonnay and pinot noir - private cellars, mostly French wines:

Grand Millesime - PDF, Excel - individual photos available upon request, order via [email protected] - my picks:
  • 2009 Louis Jadot Beaune 1er Cru Celebration $135
  • 2008 Trimbach Riesling Cuvée Frédéric Emile $135
MFW96+ (April 2023) The 2008 Cuvée Frédéric Emile has a beautiful fresh and pure nose of minty herbs, freshly cut grass, fruit stone, lime, greengage, grapefruit zest, green apple, lime tree, and anise. The wine still proves very primary and almost unyielding on the palate, yet the energy and purity are hugely impressive. It is chiseled, fresh, and very dynamic and its acidity is still at the upfront and dominates the palate at the moment (think of a Saar wine here). The finish is hugely long and is fully bone-dry. There is, however, enough complexity and presence to see a great future in this still largely un-ready bone-dry Riesling. This evolves at a glacial pace and really needs another decade before the true greatness comes through. It has even upside potential and is typically in line with the immense 1990 CFE (MFW100). 2033-2048+

Any recommendations about the Cellardoor.co offers at the moment? On a budget at the moment, but still got my $20 welcome bonus until early May and may want to leverage the fine wineweek $25.
Was thinking about the St Peters wildcard topped up with the bottle of Wynns CS. The St Peters 2020 vintage looks like it may have been a slightly disappointing one. Also considering the Pyrus wildcard.
Any thoughts on these welcome. May even wait until next months' monthly mix. *confused*

My experience is cd.co doesn't like/let you double up vouchers.

It's not the greatest deal, but '18 St Henri is $99. Use the FINEWINE25 on 3 bottles, brings down $90.67 per bottle, with free delivery. If want a 6 pack, do it twice.

Get 4 as per above equiv. @ $92.75 and get a free '18 WB BL...

(Google its price and see majority of retailers have $110+. Langtons have both '17 and '19 with bids at $89, ex. commission)
