Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

Nothing special at all mate - it’s grossly overated - if I was you I’d grab the earn like pronto with both hands and reinvest in something you really like - just sayin’.
I don't get out of bed for less than 66.5% return on my investments, sorry mate! 😎!

Haha, I got an alarm at 10am and then vagued out and missed the sale. Probs lucky. I bought Magill 30 years ago for about $30 and loved it

This looks like a likely match! I got an email today with 30OFFYOURDOZEN which makes it even better value.

Nice Ken review,

The wine is predominantly Coonawarra Cabernet, supported with a little McLaren Vale Shiraz. It is undoubtedly a wine built for the long haul, needing time to reveal all its glories. This is a cracker! Not under screwcap, it is an opaque maroon. The aromas give us notes of mocha, chocolate, nutmeg, blackberries, spicy characters, vanilla and licorice. Concentrated, deep and dark, the palate sees the emergence of soy and coffee grinds with a touch of cigar box. Oak is integrating well. Finely balanced, the power is to the fore, but lurking behind that power is some pleasing elegance. Beautifully crafted, this has a lingering finish. Enjoy it for twelve to twenty years.
I'm giving it a go with DD50 for $50 off + cashrewards

Hi guys, any comment for the Burge Family Draycott Cabernet Sauvignon 2018? It’s $5 cheaper than the Shiraz.

Did anyone end up grabbing this? Thoughts and feelings?
It's popped back up as Nick's Secret wine

Happy to refer.
Please advise them their shipping fees are too high, especially since they take a while to dispatch and seem to use Aus Post (in my experience). They've lost hundreds of dollars of orders from me alone because of it. They sell high enough bulk to get generous discounts from Aus Post and couriers, and could explore shipping caps, free shipping at a threshold, or tapered pricing (i.e. $x for 1st case, $y for 2nd case, and so on). UPDATE: I got it wrong. See below.

I don't think it is that bad as it seems to be a flat rate per order.

I ordered almost 2 dozens on Thursday and was charged $18.50 postage. I also reached out to them and asked to combine with some auction items I either won or wanted to return and they combined it all under the single fee.

So it just needs to be used smarter, ie larger one off orders, combining orders and perhaps combining with like-minded friends to minimise the fee.

By way of comparison - I recently received 6 Wendouree sixers and was charged (from memory) $16 per box ie $96 all up. Rockford has similar pricing.

Agree!

Have one bottle coming from them to be collected at my local Dans and is $18.50. Currently being 'held up' due to heat policy.

Had them return 3 doz that failed to sell at auction and was $18.50.

Notwithstanding the time (as I do it on my day(s) off), but is cheaper for me to 'duck up' up to the Barossa than get delivered.
