Does anyone know which mystery pack is the Wynn's Michael Shiraz, or a good Wynns red pack? The specials page indicates that it is meant to be the "day 9" offer, but I'm late to the game with these specials.

ddd ($175)

St Peters Shiraz 2020
Drumborg PN 2021
Seppelt Show Sparkling Shiraz 2008
Pyrus CSMM 2021
Mamre Brook Shiraz 2021
Coldstream Hills PN 2021
How do you feel about that one? Seem pretty good but not a wynns luxury pack at same price. Love the lottery.

[And I got in late and am expecting trash for my $160. So, yeah...]

Indifferent I guess.
The St Peters, Pyrus and Mamre are prob the only ones that I can foresee will enjoy.
Vic pinots don't do it for me and not a huge fan of sparkling shriaz, even tho the Show comes with pedigree.
And yes the Wynns luxury is always the preferred!

Personally I think that Seppelt Show Sparkling Shiraz 2008 is the best of them all, particularly on a warm summer day. But I get that not everyone likes sparkling shiraz.

There is sparkling shiraz and there is sparkling shiraz. The Seppelt Show is very good but at $100 it would want to be. With most sparkling, you don't get what you don't pay for.
There's some good sparkling shiraz from Rutherglen if you like a bit of body from the hot dry climate at a reasonable price.

The Seppelt SRSS is easy to find at $60-$80 and of course the 2008 was the bargain of the year at $20 back in March. I scored 18 at that time.

There seems to be a small resurgence in Sparkling reds/Shiraz, with Kalleske, Kaesler, Greenock Creek and some others releasing in the $60-$90 range, new releases from Charles Melton ($75) and Primo Joseph $100+. Even a lovely 2010 RD Sparkling Shiraz from Hart at $52 (club price). Lovely summer drinking coming.

Kalleske and Hart are fantastic examples. Loved both.

The Joseph is very good and looks great on the table.
Best I've done for the Show recently is $50 from Langtons Carpe Diam.
