What I ate today - the food thread

Home chicken curry, rice, mango and chilli pickle, fried chillis, yoghurt, spinach and potato, along with (unfortunately packet, but still good) papars. Not sure it can get better than this.
 
Dinner at The Gin Trap in Napier, NZ.

248 different gins available, but we selected the place for its food menu.

Shared scallops for entree.

Bask Restaurant Peregian Beach.

Starters were House bread with almond cream and Seasonal oysters with apple cider mignonette. I forgot to take photos of the starters but the house bread and almond cream was amazing (we always get this when we go there). Not a huge oyster fan but they were nice also. The mignonette was so moorish that I could just drink it on its own! Oysters were from Boomer Bay.
