Dan Murphy's and Other Wine Deals

What are people's 'go to' for the 12DAYS at CD.co?

Was thinking 2 x Messenger Cab ($54.50) but half contemplating the '19 389 7 bottle buy (brings 389 down to $80/bot which is still exxy) or something different in the Beringer Knights Valley Cab ($57.50)

Need to spend $1 b4 the next rewards drop on 14 Jan to go up to Bunch ($75).
Not worth overpaying just to get another $25 credit.

This item can't be delivered to a PO Box delivery location because it is classified as hazardous material. Please select another non-PO Box delivery location. ;) 😭
If you get on very well with your Post Office people, there is a work around to this situation. I use it regularly including just this week for an Amazon purchase coming from Germany.

There is also a list of postcodes that Amazon won't send hazardous material to - LINK. Not sure how they put it together, but it has flaws - e.g. 1 suburb/area has 2 postcodes, 1 postcode might be on the list but not the other. Workaround is to send to a friend/family/work address that's not blocked.

Just received the GWD email for the cleanskin shiraz mentioned here before, price reduced to $10/bottle. Anyone bought it and how was it? Thanks.

I bought a couple to try in comparison to the Ulithorne Frux Frugis, flight of 6 in my Monday tasting group.

Ulithorne Frux Frugis McLaren Vale Shiraz 14.5% $45.00 - natural cork, nice oak, but the fruit is a little muted and it's quite astringent, didn't impress. Group #5.
The Iconic Big Boy McLaren Vale Shiraz 14.5% $18.00 hmm, the similarity stops at this being as astringent or more than the FF, with some herbal notes, tinned asparagus/corn, not pleasant. Group universal vote last. It's no longer listed, but I might query them about it anyway.

Didn't follow it up and haven't opened the second bottle.
