Bargain. Bought the Wolf Blass and Wynns Michael. Thanks for posting the deal.
Am staring hard at the '21 Plat... yes a big hard to resist discount but still $70 for a wine (increasingly unfash shiraz at that, wash my mouth for being unaustralian yes yes I know...). Has anyone dared try it yet?

I haven't tried 2021 but had 2018 last week. Super concentrated beautiful Shiraz well worth $60 paid. I also grabbed 2021 (stellar vintage in Barossa) and the reviews are overwhelmingly positive. So happy to pay $70 blindly on the strength of 2018.

I think at the price point that Wolf plays in, pretty much every label down to their Gold is worth the price paid. Is shiraz unfashionable, or just the Wolf Blass name over the past decade?

Anyone finally tried the Schild Estate Three Springs 2021? Skye Cellars has it for sale at $140.4/6 bottles
They briefly had the 2019 also, now sold out.
A friend whose palate I trust strongly recommended the 2019 Three Springs, I've gone for 6 of the 2019 and 6 of the 2021.

From the Wine Collectives Wine Advisors Weekley Offers:

For something extra special, the 2019 Cape Barren Rare Bird Shiraz is an opulent, full-bodied masterpiece. This 97-point gem is normally $150 RRP, but right now, it’s just $35, at 76% off the RRP. A standout in our recent tasting, it’s a collector’s wine at an everyday price.

Any knowledge?
I heard, a not so good vintage from them from my local wine store. I have an 18 which was a ripper. Still have one. For that price it would be worth a try. Come to think about it, I think they had the 19 for around the same price. Maybe $40

You guys are seriously not helping me not buy this! Not thanks very much...

My understanding is, from snippets of info that may or may not be apocryphal, is that our love affair with shiraz domestically may be on the wane and that it's not as easy for retailers to shift as it once was.

If this is true and China stays soft then we could see some price carnage.
