Chow is amazing, here is my prawn and chicken laksa from last October I think. I'm still in the process of seeking approval to extend my stay at this time.ImageUploadedByAustFreqFly1427981712.984834.jpg

I'd think JohnM just needs an excuse - being a man of leisure :D

JohnM, please consider this is a personal invitation for you and a friend to attend the Darwin dinner and drinks on the 28th April.

We just need one of them to sign up. If we can get JohnM on board, QF WP will buckle under the intense peer pressure and the next thing you know we'll need a bigger venue!

Alas, I have no clients in DRW and have appointments back here in BNE, so I'm out :o. I hear (and have seen) JohnM has a better wine cellar than me, so perhaps he can bring some

Just realised I got my dates wrong with this and am meant to be working next Tuesday night! However as I'm a shift worker, and the 27th steals one of my rostered days off as a public holiday, I should have the 28th off also... here's hoping!

I've only just opened this thread and I see my name being bandied around :shock:.

Actually, Steady had recently mentioned it to me. Unfortunately that week is a bit busy, even for a man of leisure :-|. I have a specialist medical appointment on that day, and the Daver6 wine tasting group (of which I am now a member :)) the next night, with a PJM friends dinner the following night.

I'll keep looped into this thread. A dinner in the June-August period would make a nice escape from the chilly south!

Either of those nights are fine with me.

You're not the only one... I had planned tomorrow around a dinner commitment . So thanks for posting a saving the day!

I can also make both 27th and 28th work if it makes it easier for you ChasingDaylight.

TripleB are you locked on 28th?

So it turns out that the 27th is not a public holiday... so that day would be preferable for me if and only if that works for everyone else. Otherwise I'll just work an hour earlier and an hour later and take two hours off in the middle to come eat with you folks on the 28th! :)

Locked in for 28th - but can do 27th or 29th just as easily.

I'd like to say that I have a full calendar - but the only think for those 3 days is Chow. So name your day really!

Great. As everyone can do the 27th, let's do that so ChasingDaylight can join us.

Who made the booking? Would you mind changing it, or PM me what name it was booked under and I'll change it.
