ozbeachbabe, I assume you are aware of this - your inbox is full so I couldn't PM you

Re: Darwin Dinner and Drinks 19th, 20th or 21st Feb 2015

Thanks for the heads up Steady. Unfortunately I won't be in DRW again until 13th of March and on or about 22 April. Couldn't resist the current JQ sale fares, yes I know it is JQ but it was so cheap. I haven't booked at that price on JQ since 2004 /2005.

Re: Darwin Dinner and Drinks 19th, 20th or 21st Feb 2015

I've tried Fiddlers Green (or whatever the Irish place is) and Chow at the waterfront previously along with the Mexican place for it's happy hour special (cheap food between 1600 and 1800 daily iirc). Happy to try those again, equally happy to try the Moorish Cafe having never been there before either.

I'd suggest Moorish this time around and if we have one again in the future, the Waterfront area? (Also keep trying OBB in case she clears her PM's?)

Calling ozbeachbabe. Word is you're keen for the DRW event.

Shall I book a table for say 6:30pm lads?

Sounds good - I will admit in advance to already looking at the menu online and picking out my main!

Re: Darwin Dinner and Drinks 19th, 20th or 21st Feb 2015

Moorish @ 6:30 on the 21st it is.

Moorish is probably one of my favourite places to eat in Darwin - so good choice. FWIW their lunchtime menu is pretty good too.

Sorry that I won't be here ... next time!

Just landed in DRW now - I much prefer the climate where I live at this time of the year.

2 days to go, looks like it will just be the 3 of us.

The Moorish menu looks good, I think I will need to go back again on another visit to try some of their other offerings

I'm still in for this. What's the table booked under/how will I recognise my fellow AFF'ers? Secret handshake perhaps?

Captain Halliday has done the booking. It's booked under "Halliday" - see you around 18:30
