I'm hoping someone has recently flown this flight. I want to find out what the J class seats are like.

On seatguru they're a bit better than QF PE, but on the Delta website says
"
Stretch out in a generously-reclining seat" but they don't say anything about the size of the seat.

If at all possible, I would strongly recommend Virgin America for the SFO - JFK route.
The recline is a lot better and the J cabin just feels a lot less cramped.

That said i've only been on the 767 SEA - JFK red eye flight with Delta, but I imagine the 757 on that flight would be pretty much the same.

I'm planning to visit Puerto Rico and status run at the same time.

With my flight on Singapore home via Japan I think i can hit cold with the holiday - though going via JFK wont let me do it, but if they have sats i can sleep in then I'd be temped to forgo a few SCs for the ability to get to PR at lunch time n have some energy to get out and explore around the hotel.

AA have sleeper seats in first class, and at only $3 extra over the J class seats I'm tempted to do that one too.
