Life Time Gold - The [Realistic] Holy Grail

Another 3 or 4 more years of WP for me and I'll be 1/3 of the way to LTP! 🤪
To me, if they changed LTP from 75000 to 50000SC, it'll still be a hard target to reach for most but doesn't seem quite so impossible and might sway a fair chunk of flyers to aim for that.
I've been LTG since 2013 and continuous WP since then and here's my stats

So yep, cutting to 50,000SC would be motivating for me - I'd likely make that by 77 years old so may still have a few years to benefit from the status!

I wonder if QF should consider "stretch goals" to promote loyalty to QFF after LTG is reached.

For example, at 21,000 SC, 28,000 SC, 35,000 SC etc you get a permanent bonus (e.g. extra baggage allowance on all QF operated itineraries, extra guest allowance above the usual limit, 2x Domestic Business Lounge passes per year, 2x First Lounge passes per year when flying QF etc.). Low cost to QF and not quite LTP/OWE, but some benefits like those they offer for the Titanium card when flying QF.
Totally agree. I feel like they have not really respected my continuing loyalty since 14,000 SC 12 years ago, and the type of rewards you mention would all be attractive to me (except the extra luggage) and would make me feel noticed and not just taken for granted.

And yes I know I can try other airlines, but honestly as a WP it's hard to walk away and start as nothing somewhere else.

Yeah, I got to LTG about 9 years ago...and have limped to a total of 21K lifetime SCs despite being Plat continuously since....it is cheaper (and easier) just to book flights incl status runs during dble SC promos to maintain Plat each year than to chase LT Plat!
