Diners Club Australia and Priority Pass membership/restaurant credits

You can visit 2+ cafes in the same terminal, on departure and arrival and get 36 x X off the bill. Just don't say you're bringing a guest.
I tried using it on arrival once and it didn't work so I just assumed it doesn't work for arrivals. Have you actually tried it on arrival? Would be awesome if it works for both.

Well this is complete BS. How did ACCC alow NAB to take over Citibank and Diners, and they promise the gov dis., but they do the complete opposite?

Tried to use it at Brisbane Domestic today but it got declined. Came up with some server error message. Not sure if this had to do with my Diners no longer being active but it looks that way.
was that a citibank campanion diners club card or a businesses diners club charge card that got declined?

My PP linked to Citi was rejected in early Jan.
Citibank campanion diners club card was never meant to have lounge access included. Not sure if there was a loophole. Anyway that card was cancelled since last October.

My PP related to my DC charge card has been working throughout January, but alas all set to end in a few days.

Has anyone confirmed that even though priority pass app says valid to 31 Dec 2024 that it will fail due to failure of authorisation with Diner's Club card? I'm at airport next week.

Definite fail. RIP priority pass / Diners Club lounge access. My hopes were not high but had to try to satisfy my curiosity.

Just a last hurrah for lounge membership. I've noticed that my priority pass app still says valid to 31 Dec 2024. But last time I tried it, it was declined as my Diners Club account is closed and card is invalid and they couldn't do pre-authorisation on it.

I however noticed that if I go to the priority pass website, I can change the card that the account is linked to.

I wonder if I change it to a valid credit card e.g. a mastercard, could I potentially revive my membership until the end of the year, because pre-authorisations might then work.

Anyone in a position or willing to risk giving it a go? I'm not schedule to fly between now and end of the year.
