From AKL (and I presume elsewhere in NZ), NZ regular business fares trans-tasman are cheaper than QF (also from AKL). Sale fares tend to be matched, but not always.

Yes from WLG same case.
Example
NZ WLG-SYD $983.00 base fare + $34.01 airport and govt costs = $1,017.01
QF WLG-SYD $1,092.00 base fare + $109.11 charges/taxes = $1,201.11
Both are in NZD.
From AUST
NZ SYD-WLG $813.00 base fare + $121.38 airport and govt costs =$934.38
QF SYD-WLG $1,035.00 base fare + $121.38 charges/taxes = $1,156.38
Both in AUD.
What is interesting is that when I searched on QF one way the flight selection has the all up prices including charges/taxes but with return searches they are base fare only.
Now the fares from NZ the NZ fares include their fuel taxes, hence the lower add on but from Aust NZ fares do not include their fuel taxes.
