Discussion of fuel dumps

I present this set with some hints to help newbies like me practice FD.This set was mentioned before and is still alive.

JFK-C2: All In, R/T Price. ITA says 171.50 USD, Cheapest price that I have seen was 121.14 EUR. Big and buggy OTA says around 200 USD. Some want some more. Google flight says the crazy amount. The price fluctuates a little but around 130 EUR. It doesn't require "torturing" OTAs. Simple.

There are more than one cities in different C2 countries that you can FD. Some cost a little more. However 3 cities in one country yielded the same amount. I really like one particular city because it's less touristy while holding old charm.

You need X and need to fly. There are more than a couple of Xs in different countries. You will see interesting results after finding them. X Continent that I am talking is quite far from C1.

These Xs can also be used for C2-C5 and C1-C3, even though discount rates are different.

I can utilize this whole set but need to pay around 280 USD, because I am a little off from the main road. Good Luck, Newbies!

There is an excellent EK base fare from JFK to BKK available. Minimum stay 7 nights. FT trick it thread has people getting it for under $200 USD. Anyone able to offer any assistance/tips? I can only manage $400 with a 3X.

Why not share the full candidate base fare so all of us can see if it can be useful for us too?

Sorry I thought this was frowned upon. Airfare is SIN / SYD/ SIN. Total airfare is $657, including YQ of $359. I have spent over 4 hours trying to dump the YQ. If anyone, could PM me, with some hints, it would be much appreciated.

Nothing to be frowned upon about listing candidate fares for dumping. It is frowned upon to publicly post the details of the tricks used to dump fares though. Are you wanting to fly on a particular airline or alliance? And do you have a particular timeframe? I had a look but couldn't see the candidate fare you are referring to for that price...

This candidate fare was on BA, leaving SIN on 21 May, returning 26 December. I can no longer find it. However, there is now another candidate fare on EK, which I cannot dump

I managed to trim it a little (down to SG$561), but not yet sure if it's bookable. The dates are pretty far out, a couple of OTA's I looked at don't quite allow bookings far enough in advance.

The fare rule seems a bit restrictive, however it is workable.
If a bit of planning ahead, it is ALL do-able; but non-flyable in C6.

Im only able to trimmed down the whole fare by $139. is it possible to cut fat by 50%? any suggestion or care to share the 3x thanks!!

Try capital to capital that are both in the UK. I saw $294.10 YQ. Bookable on expedia. Trims whole fare over $300

I can get the YQ of $294.10, however my 3x fare is $335.

Showing $15 EXX to LXX on VS. Base K fare seems higher today though. I got $860 (whole fare) yesterday but $1000 today.

No luck but I didn't look hard enough. I actually dont use fuel dump trick anymore and never bought one ticket lol When I got quite good with it, my partner and I decided we would only fly J/F lol

Trick can be good for friends and family, get them to do mileage runs and buy the miles off of them further subsiding the cost of their ticket. Provided they don't mind flying in Y.

Also, do you know of an OTA that will allow mixed class bookings? 3X in Y and the rest in J..
