Friend's husband spent several days in hospital earlier this week with a minor stroke. Madam cat was not impressed she was a not consulted on the the ambulance and hospital and has been somewhat distant since he got home.

SWMBO (Cat) has just reappeared after being AWOL for 30 mins, bearing a large mouse with a grass garnish.
Had to trade a couple of teaspoons of Whiskers before she would relinquish it though.

I didn't - she visited the vet last week for her annual check.
Vet tells her how beautiful she is, how soft her fur is and what a lovely cat and how well behaved she is.
All this is true, but her head swells so much I can hardly get her in the car to come home.
