Discussion on Cats, Moggies and Felines in general [with Pictures]

Max likes clean benchtops, especially those with things on them, came home from the shops to find he had pushed another glass over the edge.
Our old cat Patsy used to sit bang in front of the TV and if you didn't take any notice would walk along and knock anything that was sitting there off. After each thing, she would look at you to see if you had noticed.
The other naughty thing was that MrLtL always has water next to the bed. I went in the bedroom once to catch her drinking from the glass. No idea how many other times she had done it and we didn't know.

Oh yes, Pushka the cat was one of those. Not my cup but MrP's. Funny thing is our cat of today refuses to drink out of a nice bowl but rather from a drinking glass that we leave in the bathroom.

We miss having a cat but it is too hard here. The people in the apartment below have a Burmese and they had a special screen added to the winter garden so that when the doors are open the cat can't climb out. We have experience cat lovee. vicariously through AFF and the daughter's two moggies.

I understand. I expect that will be our position eventually. Screens already installed. Even in the rental place for one reason only.

Cats are weird when it comes to water. Flick won't drink water from a bowl, instead she has a water fountain. She will, however, lick shower water off my legs after I get out. 🤷‍♀️

Bit of a cata-mis-adventure yesterday.
We have had a cat hanging about in the evenings, bit hard to see it but there has been some vocal sparring through the fence.
Last night the interloper found a weakness in the fence and proceeded to have a set to with the resident.
I heard this very loud cat fight noise and went to investigate with a torch .
The interloper cleared the fence in a bound and bolted while the bruised and battered resident was very pleased to see me.
We cleaned him up , clipped a couple of shattered claws and shut him in the family room with his all blood spots
Vet visit this morning, heap of puncture wounds but likely ok.
Very experienced old hand cat vet was amazed at the temperament, he just sat quietly while she pushed and prodded and clipped and cleaned.
Some fence reinforcement today...

We had a cat, with a beautiful temperament at home, who turned into Slasher-Cat at the merest hint of a vet. The poor vet and nurse had to wear gauntlet gloves, while SC screeched and wailed as the nurse held her in place...all for a teeth checkup.

I had a close relative with my late Petal. I was asked to not return to Lort Smith for her annual vaccination. This was after the vet and nurse had to get into the anti-rabies gear!

Even when the vet changed to home visits the claws were out. I had the hilarious situation once of the female vet and I chasing her around my bedroom.

I am not going to say anything.
