Discussion on Cats, Moggies and Felines in general [with Pictures]

This is going to be very interesting over the next week. The vet stitched the eyelid back in place, quite badly torn. Dissolvable fortunately. I’m sure with Soumie, they just removed it.
Now we have to stop him from touching it with his paws. He has a cone, but that has already come off twice. Still very wobbly, hasn't stopped him running around like crazy.

Here he is eating with his cone!

We had to take him back to the vet, will know more this afternoon. Meanwhile a friend had to give their dog a close cut, as it’s cold here, he has to wear a coat.

His name is Baxter, so here are Max and Bax! :)

Meanwhile some friends in NZ have acquired Ash!

All good at the vet, he still has some swelling, but stitches still intact. There is only one vet nurse that can handle him! He’s a strong little bugger..

I was quite unwell last week with food poisoning.
Woke several times to find cattus sprawled across my lap as I uncomfortably napped my way through the day.
Historically not really a lap cat, but has decided to change and is now pestering me for cuddles and arriving in my lap when I sit.
Swmbo commented that I am all he has… poor bugger….

swmbo is away, Max won‘t sleep in our room at night, the door is closed but not fully, he could come in if he wanted to. This was what greeted me when I went to the kitchen this morning, think he is trying to tell me something!

He seems to be ok, still a few antibiotics to go.

With your wooden floor boards, is the big boy noisy when he runs through the home?

He can be, but it’s funny to watch, especially when trying to change direction, it’s almost like a cartoon sequence. We have tried to get a video, without success so far.
He is still young, so he has his manic moments then sleeps.
I wasn’t up early enough for him this morning, so a few more things were pushed of the counter onto the floor to get my attention, nothing breakable though, all those have been put away safely. :)
