At about the 60 minute mark of the director's commentary of the G v K dvd, he says he based the facial expression of Godzilla on his cat (the "we all know who is the boss" look).

He looks like he’s waiting patiently for dinner. However, he’s had Tuna, dry kibble and a treat already!

Constantly under foot while we try to prepare dinner.

He’s been at death’s door twice in the past 6 months. steroi_ treatment has brought him back to life with a ferocious appetite.

Yes. He’s a Maine Coone. Unfortunately we had to have his twin brother put to sleep 3 months ago, and he misses him a lot.

That photo makes him look fat, but it’s just the way he’s sitting.

Sorry to hear about your loss. A friend's son and wife have 2 Maines - both females and they are lovely (though they do rule the house). It was the face and ruff that made me think he was a Maine.
