We like to think our cats love us. In actual fact they simply tolerate our existence.

I'm okay with that.

So I was off to buy some stamps today to post a few letters off via snail mail, something I don't do very regularly I must admit.

I was given a pleasant surprise at the current design of Australian stamps when I purchased a 10 pack of stamps at the local post office.

Purr-fect !

Although I don't think I will start a hobby of stamp collecting as a result of today's find

I loved the cat stamps. We only had them at work for a little while, now we're stuck with lighthouses and signs. Lame.

Perhaps putting on too much weight though. A problem for diabetics.

Took Petal to the cattery today and a staff member on the first floor looked at me and said 'oh Petal's back',

She doesn't know my name but does my cat. Still I guess it is good that they know the regular residents.

My vet is the same. The first greeting is always Hey, it's Munn the Cat!

Even when I ring the vet I introduce myself "Hello, it's Munn the Cats secretary calling".

I hate it when people greet me in the supermarket ........ they don't have their pet with them so I have no idea who they are :shock: !

It is always a great relief when they say something like "Flopsy HoHo is much better this week" -> WHEW !
