I dont want to come across as a toff or criticising Virgin, but i think the little touches like a wooden coat hanger makes a difference, since it is J class afterall. i've read plenty of trip reports to know that travellers who fly J or F class etc, notice small details such as coat hangers lol :) as much as they notice whether the cutlery is plastic or metal, drinks are served in glassware or how fluffy the pillow is etc etc...

Anyway the metal skinny ones are like the silver ones you get from dry cleaners and i wouldn't even hang my shirts in those.

And if they can manage it in white, that would be nice, but i wouldnt want the white paint to rub off on the jackets though.

I completely agree with you here. Taking a step back it could sound a little high standards complaining about the quality of coat hangers in business class.

However, this is something Virgin are new at going from a LCC to a Premium Carrier and one of the things they'll find hard is attention to detail. Of course, those that know JB know his attention to detail is astounding.

Maybe that's why Virgin is here on AFF, for us to complain about the little things.

Out of interest, what would people think if the rope was red with metal/chrome ends?

Kind of like this but with magnetic ends of course, and attached to the divider:
