Do Tasmanian Woolworths customers really prefer the "Frequent $hopper Club"?

so want to get my $10 off before my points get transferred and the requirement becomes 2000 points.
They transfer at 2:1, but still better to earn FSC until there is a bonus. There are no restrictions on using both FSC or EDR until end of year if you keep both accounts open

The only way to keep both accounts open is to not put your FSC number on the WR application, as they close the FSC account straight away. I'm a Woolworths Bunch member (where you get all the free stuff to sample) so trying to keep both accounts going might cause hassles with that, am just waiting to hear back from the Bunch Team as to how it's going to work.

Thanks for the info about the points transfer rate - I looked through so many FAQs when I was looking for what the bonus actually was, but missed that one!

Have had both for years. Took advantage of gift card offers on mainland with EDR/WR when I travelled over. Email recognises I have both and can use either until Dec20.

Good to know, thanks. My main concern is the Bunch membership, as it took several years after registering before I received an invitation to join, so don't want to bugger that up!

Well, that's interesting. I just got an e-mail from Woolworth's CEO about COVID, sent to me as a member of Everyday Rewards - the first ER e-mail I think I've ever received. I had forgotten I had joined; never used it as the scheme doesn't operate in Tasmania. Long since turfed the card.

But of course ER is going to start in Tas - I wonder if they just added me to their e-mail database because Tas addresses are now 'OK'?

Went on to the EDR site today to change over from F$C, system wouldn't let me sign up as both email addresses I tried still show as existing EDR accounts, despite being made to close our accounts when we moved to Tassie, as EDR said we couldn't keep them open with a Tassie address). We now have to get them to close the accounts off properly (why wasn't that done previously?) before we can get the changeover done, so back on Live Chat to them again for the second time today, and they won't do anything with Mr J's old account without speaking to him, which is a PITA with the hours he's working at the moment.

Just for interest. Have had 2 reasonable offers so far.
1. 10x points on whole shop if it included $10 spend on veges/fruit
2. Similar but 5x points with $15 meat spend.
Hanging out for $x bonus over x weeks.
Coles has my attention with $60 spends for $50.

Ditto, it got my attention. The more I think about this the more I think Tasmanian's will not be happy about the change given the reduction in points by half. It remains to be seen if the QFF points will offset the reduction.
Ok, I'm a convert! ER is much better than the old frequent shopper scheme. We opted for the cash back option (odd I know for a FF points hound) and we are accumulating points at a record rate despite needing twice as many now. With points boosters, bonus points and offers the points add up very quickly. In 3 months we have a built a credit of $70 after taking a lot longer to get the $50 carried over from the old scheme.
The biggest boost so far was 7000 points (=$35) for spending $165 a week for 2 weeks which is easily done. I am regularly getting 10% discount offers for BWS which is significant.
I'm conscious of not buying stuff I don't need but simply buying a little more of what we do need and freezing it or whatever (e.g the beer fridge!)

Nice to hear, it is great eh! Multiple shopping offers, giving good discounts...but best of all is the gift card deals we could NEVER get.

Being able to swap between Coles and Woolies, and use several legit family member cards allows me to maximise everything.

I haven't read anything about the gift card deals. Can you elaborate?
Where I live the only choice is really Woolworths because to get to Coles I have to drive past that Woolies supermarket. That's all about to change as Coles are going to build a new supermarket a 2 minute drive away so I will also be able to start using the Flybuys card again regularly.

I'd be happy if they could just sort out the IT glitch (or whatever it is) and I finally start receiving EDR emails. I changed over from Frequent Shopper Club (F$C) to EDR in August but haven't received any emails at all, not even the confirmation email you're supposed to get when you sign up! As I previously mentioned, there were issues with joining as both Mr J and I previously had EDR accounts when we lived in WA which were (supposed to have been but apparently not) closed off at EDR's end when I cancelled both accounts when we moved to Tassie.

The customer service rep I spoke to had to change something in the back end in order for me to use one of the same email addresses to sign up again, but no emails at all since that time. Have spoken to them twice, has just been escalated again today via Live Chat with yet another ticket lodged with their IT team, but no sign of a resolution.

I've been checking the app daily, but didn't start getting any Booster offers until early October. What really p*ssed me off was that I missed an 8000 points for 2 weeks of $100 spend each week, which I could easily have reached as it was able to be done in multiple shops. However I'm not receiving any emails of course, and it never appeared in the app until AFTER it ended, so never received any notification about it - I was scrolling through the ended offers and lo and behold, there it was with "Sorry, you've missed this" - really annoyed about missing out on that one.
